Eyes. No sound. Just... eyes.

"She's alright?"

"Belle is in I.C.U." Dr. Kleen says. "She was brought back to life during surgery."

"SO YOU LET HER DIE?!!" I tackle Dr. Kleen from my chair. "YOUR LUCKY I DIDNT SUE YOU!!"

On top of Dr. Kleen, people circled around us, Theo tried to get me off of her. I punched her in the nose. Adrenaline reached my fists. I imagined her as Ansel, on the day he blamed me for our daughters sickness.

"SHAI!" Theos arms took me from under my body. "Calm down."

I shoved him back, ramming Dr. Kleen in a nearby coffee stand.

"Security!" A man shouts.

"Shai!" A voice calls out. "SHAI!!"

I woke up.

A bad dream.

Of course I wouldn't know that.

"She's gone!!!" I cry, my breath getting shorter and shorter as I sobbed.

Theo sat behind me. I leaned into him, his forearm holding me to his chest.

"Shai, Belle is still in surgery."

"NO! I SAW HER! SHE DIED DURING SURGERY!" Inhaling sharply, blood rushed from my nose.

"911 what's your emergency?" I heard a woman say on the phone.

"Yes, my girlfriend is having a breakdown, and she is over doing it."

"By that you mean?"

"She has Brain cancer. I think she's about to have another seizure."

Like Theo had said, I had three in a row.

I'm not getting better. I need her back.
