After Theo and I had our final dispute, I drove myself to the MTV awards. That night, I won Best Female Performance award, The Trailblazer award, and the Best Movie of the Year award. Winning was one thing, but the drama back at home prevented me from exploding in excitement.
"What's wrong?" Miles asks me.
Both of us went to the after party together. Since Ansel couldn't be there due to a movie.
"Stress," I huffed. "Is there something wrong with you?"
"Nah, I'm great. Belle is doing alright, yeah?"
I nod, pulling out my phone to show him a picture of her. "Here is her with Theo."
"Theo is a great father." He awed. "Ansel... where is he?"
"Ansel is- not in the picture." I chuckle it off, placing my phone right next to my magarita.
"Shai, you usually don't drink. What up?" He came closer to me, which I didn't mind at all.
"Last week, my father died. I cheated on Theo with this bartender in his car! Then, I found out that he cheated on me with his ex, Lauren. And- I don't know, Miles! I don't....know." I rubbed the side of my left temple.
"It's okay, Shai." His hand went over the small of my back smoothly.
Tanner my brother, came over to me.
"I'm leaving Shai. Call me." He side hugs me.
"Bye Tanner." Miles and I waved.
