"Inventing the wheel? Boring. Discovering electricity? Snooze. Sliced Bread? Lame." Donald said as he and the group of five walked into the lab. "But now, Davenport Indistries introduces the world's first... Proton Fuser!" Donald exclaimed as he unveild his new invention to the the five teens.

"You know, for a scientist, you'd think your payoffs would be a bit more proportionate to your buildups." Leo said.

"Uh, the payoff is that it allows us to see the origins of the universe. This thing fuses sub-atomic particles, so we can understand how planets form." Donald explained.

"Well, we already understand how boredom forms." Bree said.

"Haven't you ever wondered where stuff comes from? Galaxies? Stars? Planets?" Donald asked.

"No." Jodie said.

"This stuff, no. Onion rings, yes." Adam said.

"Guys, I have always wanted to build this thing, and now it's a reality. It's an important life lesson: If you have a dream, believe in it, cause it can happen." Donald said.

"Um, Mr. Davenport, isn't it dangerous to tinker with the fabric of the universe?" Chase asked.

Adam laughed. "He said 'tinker'."

"Yes, technically it could destabilize the earth, or open a wormhole into a parallel universe. But, I made it and I wanna play with it, so... Prepare to be amazed!" Donald eclaimed as he turned on the machine.

"Or gravely injured." Chase said.

Adam immediately pulled Bree and Chase behind him while Jodie pulled up a force field in front of her and Leo. The saw as the proton fuser built up energy, then died out.

"Once again, big build up, teeny, tiny payoff." Leo said as the force field vanished.

At that moment, Tasha walked into the lab. "Okay, the popcorn is popping and the movie is uploaded. Or downloaded. Whatever, the red thingy is blinking green. Just head upstairs, it's movie time!" Tasha said.

"I do love a matinee." Leo said.

"Oh, hold it, you two." Tasha said, stopping Leo and Jodie from following with the others. "No movie for you until you finish your chores. Your rooms are a mess, and you haven't washed the dishes in days." She continued, looking at the duo.

"But, we've been looking forward to this movie all week." Jodie protested.

"And I've been looking forward to clean dishes all week." Tasha said.

Leo and Jodie looked at each other. "Really? Well, that's just sad." Leo said to his mother. Tasha gave them a look and started walking out with her children following, not noticing that the proton fuser was powering back up.

Up in the living room, Donald, Tasha and the three bionic teens were all watching the movie. Leo and Jodie were in the kitchen washing the dishes, trying to sneak a few glances at the TV.

"Guys!" Tasha said, noticing how the two were watching the movie.

"Aah!" Leo screamed, making Jodie jump and both of them dropping the dishes they were holding, shattering them.

"I said no movie. First you two won't do the dishes, then you break them?" Tasha said, standing up from the couch.

"Hey, you said you hate looking at dirty dishes and there's two less to to look at." Leo said as he and Jodie looked at Tasha.

"That is it. No TV for the rest of the week." Tasha said.

"That's not fair." Both Leo and Jodie said. Tasha only shrugged.
