"All right, listen up, guys. We're introducing a new element to training- the bionic battle. Each week, two of you will be pitted against each other in a physical challenge." Chase explained to the group of students who were in the training area that day.

"To the death?" Spin asked.

"Yes, Big D built this multi-million-dollar facility to train and house you just so we could pick you off one by one." Leo said sacastically as Jodie snickered.

"So each week's winner will earn points toward advancing to the next bionic skill level. And the loser gets... well, humiliated." Chase said.

"Spin, since you're the youngest, you get to choose an opponent first." Bree said.

"Yes! Scared? Ya should be." Spin said, looking around the group.

"Ooh, we quiver with fear." Jodie said sarcastically, her and Leo doing their hand shake as they snickered again.

"No, no. This isn't about scaring people. No one's going to get hurt." Chase said, then was hit by a basketball. "Ow!" He winced and immediately walked into the common area, Bree following. Both found Adam, Bob and other students shooting hoops. "What are you doing?" Chase asked.

"We're throwing this thing at that thing. I'm an athlete." Bob said.

"Adam, you're a mentor now. You have to start acting like one." Bree said, looking at her brother.

"I am. We're supposed to teach then how to use their abilities. So... we're havin' a bionic slam dunk contest." Adam explained.

"Incoming!" Bob yelled as he jumped toward the basket.

"Whoa!" Chase slightly winced as he and his siblings watched Bob hanging from the net.

"Bob, get down from there!" Bree yelled.

"Sorry, little lady. No can do." Bob answered, still hanging from the net.

"Why not?" Bree asked.

"Because I'm scared of heights!" Bob shrieked.

"But you can levitate." Chase said.

"Oh, I'm good going up. It's the going down part that never ends well." Bob explained.

"I'll have to use my molecular kinesis to get him down." Chase said and walked over to the basketball hoop.

"Or you could just use a ladder." Bree said. Her and Adam watched Bob scream as he fell on top of Chase and the hoop falling on both of them.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Bob. That ended very well." Adam laughed.

"Okay, Tasha." Donald said as he walked into the training area, talking on the phone with Tasha. "I- I got it honey. Okay, now you're just growling." Donald said and hung up the phone.

"Troube in paradise?" Bree asked.

"I've just been so busy with the academy, I haven't been able to spend any time with Tasha." Donald explained.

"And she's complaining about that?" Adam said.

"Hey, Mr. Davenport, why don't you go back to Mission Creek for a couple of days? We can handle things here." Chase said.

"Thanks, but there's too much going on here. Tasha will just have to wait." Donald said, dismissing the idea.

"Hey, Davenport, what are you and Mom doing for your anniversary tonight?" Jodie asked as her and Leo walked into the training area.

"Anniversary." Donald chuckled, then gasped loudly. "I'll call you from the mainland!" Donald said and immediately ran out of the room.

"Told you." Leo smirked as Jodie handed him some money.
