chapter one

~Scarlet's point of view~
Sup! My name is Scarlet Holthouse. I am an average sixteen year old girl, and I live in LA, California. This summer my parents decided that we're gonna spend our summer vacation with relatives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I'm okay with spending my vacation there it sounds like fun. So I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself, I'm 5'6, I have dirty blonde hair, I have bright green eyes, and I...I guess that's really it. My little sister Rose is definitely the opposite of me, she's fourteen, she's 5'5. HOW IS MY LITTLE SISTER ALMOST AS TALL AS ME? It's embarrassing. She has light brown hair with dark brown eyes, she's pretty...I guess that's why all the boys go after her. No boys go after me though...they think I'm too boring, but I guess it's their lost. But I shouldn't be worrying about that right now, I'm twenty-four hours I am going to be in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

24 hours later

Well we're finally here! My family and I just got off of our plane and we officially arrived in Tulsa. After an hour drive we finally arrived at my aunt's house, we walked in and we were greeted with my mom's sister. We were saying hello to everyone when suddenly my cousin walked downstairs, I went up to her, "Cherry! It's been so long since I've seen you!", "Hey Scarlet...it's been way too long." She pulled me in for a hug, Cherry is probably the best cousin I'm ever gonna get. Not to mention she's beautiful, she has this long red hair and these beautiful green eyes. Cherry helped me bring my stuff to her room because we decided to room together. After I got settled she turned to me, "Soooo tell me everything! How have you been? How's California? Do you have a boyfriend?", "To answer all of your questions, I've been good, California is great, and I do not have a boyfriend." She looked at me shocked, "No boyfriend? How is there no boys chasing you?", "They think I'm boring...", "Well that's their loss than." I smiled, I guess she's right. A few seconds later the phone in her room started to ring, she answered it and talked to the person on the other line for a few minutes, a little while later she hung up and turned to me. "Guess what!?!? We're going to the drive in tonight!!!!", "We?", "Yes!! It's gonna be you, me, my friend Marcia, Randy Marcia's boyfriend, and my boyfriend Bob." Of course she has a boyfriend....she's perfect, I looked at her and smiled, "Great..I'm really excited to meet your friends", "They are literally gonna love you." I hope she's right

Dinner time

A little while later it was dinner time, I sat next to Cherry at the large table and my aunt looked over at me, "Hey Scarlet...how have you been?", "I've been great Aunt Hellen..thank's for asking." My uncle Rob looked over at me, "So Scarlet...how many boyfriends you got". My day piped up, "None and it's gonna stay that way." My family laughed and continued eating, after dinner Cherry told her parents that we were going out...they let us but my parents gave me a set of rules to follow...it's annoying how they think I'm stupid. Cherry and I got to the drive in and we found her friends, as soon as she saw what I was assuming Marcia, Cherry went over and hugged Marcia. "Heyyy Marcia..I want you to meet my cousin Scarlet." I walked over to them and Marcia eyed me up, "Hello Scarlet, nice to meet you!", "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Marcia, I have heard many good things about you." Marcia smiled at me, Than a boy walked up to us, "Hey Cherry", "Hey baby you made it!." She went over and kissed him, that's when I knew it was Bob, Cherry pulled me closer to her and introduced me to Bob. After I met all of her friends we sat down and the movie started, a little while later a bunch of people came and sat down behind us, I took a quick glance and realized they were all boys...and some of them weren't bad looking. I locked eyes with this boy who had beautiful blue eyes...he was hot.

~Sodapop's point of view~

The gang and I decided to go to the drive in to see a movie, we all sat down and a girl in front of us turned around and made direct eye contact with me. She had these vibrant green eyes and this beautiful dirty blonde hair, I had no idea who she was though. I leaned over to my bestfriend Steve, "Steve...who is that girl?", "Hmmmm....I have no idea...I have never seen her before. But she's definitely hot." I slapped his arm and he rolled his eyes, a few minutes later Dally showed up. He sat down next to me and looked at me, "Soda? Hello? Earth to Soda?." He looked to where I was looking and saw me looking at mystery girl, "Wait who is that?", "No idea." The rest of the girls friends got up to go to the snack bar...which left mystery girl all by herself, Dally got up and sat next to her. I wonder how this is going to end
