Midway, June 4, 1942, 6:45 AM

Midway Lieutenant: THEY'RE COMING! THE JAPS ARE COMING!

The filming crew have the balls, as Midway soldiers asked them to tkae shelter at the bunker, but the filming crew readied the cameras ready to record the incoming Japanese air squadrons heading for Midway.

They began to record and take pictures of the squadrons as the Midway soldiers head for the cannons and AA guns to take down the squadron fleet.

The squadron fired bullets and lead and dropped their load to the island, without realizing that there are no American aircraft on the island. The soldiers kept on firing hard to destroy the enemy squadron.

Main Navy Building, CINCPAC Operations Room

Ensign: Japanese air attack reported onMidway. And one of our scout planesjust sighted the enemy carriers.

Nimitz locks on the ensign like a cobra.

Ad. Chester W. Nimitz: Spotted where?

He reports carriers bearing 320 degrees, 180 miles northwest of Midway.

Nimitz half-smiles to himself and then turns to Layton, whois marking the reported position on the giant chart.

Ad. Chester W. Nimitz: Well, Layton... you and Rochefortwere only off by five minutes, fivedegrees, and five miles. But who cares, we are now on the major battlegrounds.

R. Ad. Edwin Layton: We'll endeavor to do better nexttime, sir.

Another ghost of a smile from Nimitz. Then --

Ad. Chester W. Nimitz: Give Spruance the enemy position andtell him to attack. For Missouro and Illiohem, tell them to get ready.

Ensign: Yes sir!

R. Ad. Edwin Layton: Midway already launched their B26s and a squadron of Marine divebombers. They should be approachingthe Japanese carriers.

Midway Island Air Group, 7:10 AM

The air group through the clouds have arrived at the supposedly location of the Japanese aircraft carriers. To their surprise at the Japanese fleet, it was a huge fleet with cruisers, destroyers, submarines, and the main fleet the four aircraft carriers.

Major Henderson stares out the cockpit window. The entireJapanese carrier task force stretches ahead of him. AsHenderson flicks the toggle of his radio, he note the MarineCorp patch on his arm and the olive-drab color of his uniform. He then signals the squadron to start firing.

The enemy fleet then fired their AA guns to the incoming American squadrons, alerting the fleet to launch their own aircraft. Many of the American planes began to be hit by the bullets, Henderson's planeis surrounded by a dozen other SBDs, which are under viciousassault by at least ten Japanese Zeroes. All of them fell to the ocean waters as another SBD abruptly dips its wing and falls toward the ocean, trailing black smoke. And then another.

All the Admirals on the Japanese fleet especially the four carriers watched the events unfold as they ordered the ship to intercept the incoming load of the B26 Bombers. One of them tried to bombed the Akagi, but failed.

It takes a few seconds before Admiral Nagumo realizes the situation they have been going.

At one of the Japanese scouting planes, they spotted the enemy fleet, seeing cruisers and destroyers.

Jap. Pilot: Enemy spotted!

But not before.
