Jacks POV...

I walked outside Marshall following me , I still can't get over the fact that Emma is getting with him.

" So you wanted to talk ?" Marshall asks taking a seat on the patio .
" Yeah , thanks for taking the time I really appreciate it " I say .
" Yeah no worries man , what's up ?" He says.
" Just wanted to have a word about Emma , she told me what has happened the last couple of months but she never said with whom , but after tonight I figure it's you ? " I ask .
" Yea man look , I like your sister alright and I know we didn't get off to a great start with all that happened but because of that it makes me appreciate her more " He sighs .
"No I'm glad shes found someone , you know your the first person she's been with in like five years " I laugh.
"Seriously ? Why so long ?" He asks .
" I probably shouldn't tell you this but her ex Anthony was a gobshite , he came on the scene about 4 months after DJ was born at first he was such a nice guy we all liked him and thought he was great treating DJ like his own  he was the first person Emmy told well apart from family bout what happened to her  she loved him that much she trusted him . But when he drank he would turn into an absolute prick , one night we were at a friends birthday and the bar was packed but there was a few dancing poles, Emma and her friends were dancing and decided to mess around on them but Anthony didn't like that one bit , so he went and pulled Emma from the pole and started arguing calling her a slut and a whore for grinding up and down on the pole for every man to see , now at this point myself and few other lads stepped in trying to get him to calm down . Emma was in tears it was the first night she let her hair down since yano but anyways he kept shouting at her causing everyone to look and see what was going on, in the end I go to drag him out and as I'm doing that he shouts and says - no wonder you got fucking rapped behaving like a slut that bastard kid of yours should be ashamed to have you as a mother and a rapist as a father- . That was the first time all her friends and everyone in the village knew what happened. That night broke Emma " I sighed .
" shit that's fuckin messed up " he says .
" yeah I know what makes it worse he's now with one of her best friends, I'm telling you this cause I want her to be treated the way she should be and I don't want her getting her hurt yano , now I know your a superstar and 20 years older but don't think for a second I won't fly across the pond to the kick the shit out of you if I have to " I laugh.
" Yo you don't have to worry " he laughs .
" Good, now it's time for me to go show dr Dre my musical skills so he will sign my boring Irish ass " I joke .
" Man if your that good il sign you to shady records " he laughs .
" Let's head back in then " I say .

Emma's POV ....

I was having the best time celebrating my birthday , I was dancing in my kitchen with DJ , Hailie and Lainey and I didn't even care who seen me for the first time in a long time I was genuinely enjoying myself .

" Emma , come here for a minute " my mom shouts waving me over to her .
"Girls are you okay to dance with DJ , il be back " I smile to Hailie and Lainey .
" yes of course " Lainey smiles .

I let go of DJ's hands so Lainey can take my place and make my way over to my mom .

" everything okay?" I ask .
" Yes honey all is good, just I would love some live music maybe you and Jack can do something ?" She asked.
" Mom I don't think that's a good idea , we have some very talented people here I'm sure if you ask one of them they would be happy to do a song " I laugh.
" Yes but Emma they are rap stars , you know I don't like that kind of music " she sighed .
" Maybe jack will be okay doing it by himself ? You know how nervous I get in front  of people " I say .
" Fine il ask Jack to play some piano " she says .
" Jack come here " my mom shouts in his direction. I see him coming in from outside with Marshall.
" Yes mother " he says .
" What we're you doing out side with Marshall ?" I ask.
" oh just having a chat with you boyfriend , giving him the tough brother talk " he laughs .
" Don't be silly jack , Marshall isn't Emma's boyfriend " my mom laughs .
" yeah whatever you say mother " jack rolls his eyes.
" family talk?" Dad appears out of nowhere .
" No I want jack to play some music on the piano " my mom smiles.
" That's what I was going to do before you called me , how else was I going to get dr Dre to see my talent " jack smirks , I can tell he's a little tipsy .
" Are you serious ?" I ask .
" Yeah I even told mr Eminem , wanna join sis ? I'm sure lover boy would like to hear you sing ?" Jack wiggles his eyebrows at me .
" I keep hearing about Emma and a boyfriend but yet I'm still waiting to meet him" my dad sighs .
" You have met him" jack laughs .
"Shut it " I glare at jack .
" It's piano time " Jack says walking over to the piano near the living space .

He plays a few notes and my mom turns of the music , every starts to pay attention to jack on the piano ..
