Pregnancy in 2004 .
Ectopic pregnancy 2010.

Known allergy to Morphine ( swelling of body , rash and nausea) .

Appointment Details :
Follow up for blood work done last week as patient came in complaining of being unwell .
Blood work shoes positive pregnancy result , scanned today showing featus aged at 8 weeks with expected delivery date August 25th 2011.
Last know period was November 8th 2010 .
Patient to come back in 3 weeks for additional scan and decision on way forward .

Fuck its definitely my kid , well unless she hooked up with someone else before Christmas but I knew Emma wasn't like that .
I looked at the scan and all I see is a little white blob .

I picked up my phone .

" Yo slim " Porter answers.

" My office now , fucked up " I sigh hanging up the phone .

Sat back in my desk chair thinking what the hell and I'm going to do , I didn't want this and she knows it . But it is half my fault I should have been more careful.

" yo slim what's happening " Porter says entering my office and taking a seat on the opposite side of my desk.

" It's bad man " I said handing him over the medical report and scan.

I watched him as he scanned over the pieces of paper in front of him no expression on his face .

"Dude , would take Emma to be allergic to morphine  .  Like that's so weird " He laughed.

" Are you serious right now , I show you a scan and a medical report saying she's pregnant and all you can't believe is that she's allergic to morphine " I shout .

" I can clearly see she's pregnant man , what's the big deal ? You didn't want things to end between you all now you have her forever so I don't see the problem " he said .

" The problem is , I don't want more kids man . The girls are enough for me , I'm to old to to start the whole baby thing again ." I sigh laying my head on the back of the chair

" Marshall , everything happens for a reason Yano . Maybe this the universe trying to tell you that you and Emma are suppose to be together . Or maybe it's proofs way of getting you back for all the shit you pulled on him " He chuckled.

" I just don't know what im going to do , I know she's not going to get rid of it . I just don't know if I can be there for her like that . A baby complicates things and I don't want to have to deal with that shit " I shrug .

" If she's not going to get rid of it , step up and be a father man . That's one thing your good at that you don't mess up , you would do anything for your girls and fuck even for Kim cause she's there mom so it won't be any different with Emma .  Even if you guys aren't together at least be friends and co parent . " He says happy with himself on the advice he just gave me .

" Obviously I'd be there for the kid , it's mine after all . It's just all this shit man between me and Emma makes it more complicated she shot me down cause I couldn't give her the commitment .  I think your right though even though I love the girl we're better of friends and doing this co parent shit " I sigh getting up from my chair and looking out the window .

" Wait hold up , you love her ? Well why not tell her and fucking be with her ? " He shouted .

"Because I can't , she doesn't feel the same way and she's with that Charlie dude . I fucked up her life enough without me pouring my feelings on her " I say .

" Man fuck Charlie , he will probably run for the purple hills when he finds out she's pregnant with some other dude " he laughed .

" That's up to him , Ugh I just need to think and have a talk with Emma . You should seen her when she came in man , she was so angry the look on her face I thought she was going to kill me . Shouted at me slammed the paper down and walked out " I sigh.

" Again fuck Charlie , you do realise if he stays around he will be fucking her while she's carrying your baby that's fucked up  man " he says .

" He will in his fuck try and have sex with her while my baby is inside of her . He can go fuck himself " I shout , now I'm angry .

" Nothing you can do if there together man , this why you need to tell Emma how you feel " he says .

" Not happening , imma talk to her and tell her il co parent and be there for them but on one condition she doesn't fuck that piece of

" He probably already has man " he laughed .

"Yo shut up man , I doubt it according to Kim they have only been on 3 dates and hit 2nd base so he can fuck off " I laugh.

" so your asking Kim to keep you updated, jealous much ?" He smirks .

" Not jealous just it came up in conversation " I smile .

" Yeah whatever man , look you should go talk to Emma . I'm going to to go back to work " he says standing up from the chair .

" Ok I'm going to text her now , see ya later man thanks  " I say as he leaves .

To Emma - Hey , where you at ? I think we need to talk !. Marshall

From Emma - I'm at home , but if your coming to argue with me don't bother I'm not in the fucking mood right now for that Marshall . Emma .

To Emma -  No arguing , just talking . I'm leaving the office now il see you in 20 . Marshall.

From Emma - Bring snacks . Emma .

I smiled at the last message she sent , that girl is always hungry .  This conversation is going to be so fucking hard, l want to be there for her but I don't want to fuck it up . I learned with Kim that arguing when you have kids is so messed up it will always affect the kids in some way . I don't want to be like that with Emma I want us to be friends who can hang out with our kid and there be no issues .  But it's me , and that will never be the way .
