Celeste sat in her seat and took out a book. She usually arrived early and just read until everyone else arrived. It had only been a month into the school year and they had only seen each other's quirks once. Well they hadn't seen hers.

Celeste had been excused from the assignment that day and just stood on the sidelines much to an angry blondes wishes.

She rose her head slightly as someone walked in shortly after, being a little surprised as it was still early for anyone else to arrive. A purple haired boy entered silently and sat in the desk next to her. Great he's a desk mate.

"Hello."

"Hi." She replied in a monotone voice, keeping her gaze on her book.

"Page 157, did you read the line Arthur said to the monster?"

She flinched slightly at the continued conversation and was minimally surprised that he knew her book. She turned to him at an angle so he couldn't see her face.

"Y-yea. It was pretty funny... what's your name?"

"Hitoshi, Shinsou."

"Celeste. Or just Cel."

"Cool."

She turned back to her book and smiled to herself. That was the first time that she had given someone her name, let alone nickname. Not to mention this boy was straight to the point and didn't pester her with mindless nonsense. Her interest was peaked.

As more people began to enter the classroom, Celeste felt herself isolate more and more from the people around her. Just as always.

"Hey! New kid! What's your name?!" Kaminari yelled across the room. Celeste lowered her head down more and tried to look uninterested. It was boys like the electric blonde that gave her anxiety.

She let out a quiet sigh of relief as Aizawa Sensei stepped into the classroom and told the boy to sit down.

"Ok we have a new student, blah blah, work on your homework pages 20-25 until class is over." He said tiredly slipping into his bright yellow sleeping bag and falling asleep on the floor.

Celeste sighed and took out her workbook. She loved Aizawa Sensei and his lack of teaching because it allowed her to be silent and drift away from the world temporarily. She began working on the problems assigned when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She jumped slightly in her seat and turned to the cause with a hidden dark blush.

"Sorry...I don't have the workbook yet, could I just copy the problems from yours?"

The girl nodded her head and passed her workbook to him. She felt his eyes try to look past the shadow of the hood and see her.

"Here." Shinsou said putting the book between them so they could both work.

"Wow, is Celeste actually talking to someone." She heard Mina say from behind her to Kirishima.

The red headed boy lightly smacked her on the arm and replied, "Don't be rude bro, we all know she's quiet. Let her adjust at her own pace."

Celeste smiled slightly at the kind redheads words and continued to work. She started to hear a pair of feet walk towards her as she rose to meet the owner.

Midoriya looked at Shinsou and sat in an empty seat in front of them.

"Hi! You must be Shinsou! I just wanted to get to know our new classmate more and.." the green haired boy continued to ramble much to both Celeste's and Shinsou's demise until a loud voice boomed throughout the room.
