Year 1: Trolls and Detention

It was halloween night and the great hall was decorated with halloween decorations.
The food was halloween themed.
It was mostly a bunch of candy.

I was eating some apple pie when the doors burst open and Professor Quirrell runs inside yelling "Troll! In the dungeon! Troll in the dungeon!"

It went quiet.
We were looking at Quirrell with confusion.

Was it a prank? A joke? Or was he being serious?

He stops in the middle of the hall and quietly says, "Thought you ought to know." and falls face forwards.

Thunder struck and everyone began to scream.
I screamed too.

We started to run out until Dumbledore yelled "Silence!"
We all stop and turn towards Dumbledore.

"Everyone will please not panic. Now, Prefects will lead their house back to their dormitories. Teachers will follow me to the dungeons." He finishes.

"Slytherins! Let's go!" the prefect yells. I tug Draco's robe. "Our common room is in the dungeon and the troll is in the dungeon!" I advise Draco who's eyes turned wide. "Maybe the troll left the dungeon." Goyle suggested.

We were getting behind so we quickly walked to catch up. We get closer to the dungeons and we hear a low growl.
I jumped closer to Draco.
"Don't panic. It's alright. The troll is leaving." The prefect calmly said.
"See the trolls leaving no need to be scared." Draco spoke.
We heard a very loud growl and he let out a small yell. "no need to be scared." I mocked him as I folded my arms.

"He's gone. Let's go." The prefect hurried us and we made our way to the common room. "Im going to my dormitory." I tell Draco once we were inside. "Wha- Why dont you stay down here?" He asks. "Not with the troll out loose. My dormitory is closed and secure. Besides I need my sleep." I explain as I turn on my heel.

"Happy Halloween!" I shout in good spirit as I walk to my dormitory.

"Happy Halloween, you scaredy cat!" Draco half shouted.

"I heard that!" I yell and I chuckle to myself.

I enter my dormitory and I get ready for bed.

This scaredy cat needs her beauty sleep.

I turn off the bedside lamp and fall asleep.

.____Time Passes___.

The first quidditch match of the season started today. Slytherin vs Gryffindor. Draco and I were at the front and we held flags showing our spirit for our house.

Once the game started, Angelina Johnson scores two goals.
Gryffindor was up by 20.
Marcus Flint, who was captain of the quidditch team hit a bludger and knocked out the keeper of the gryffindor team.
They were able to make two goals.
The slytherin team became more aggressive.
Both seekers from each team were chasing down the snitch. Our seeker held back when he was chasing it all the way to the ground, leaving the door open for Harry. Harry eventually caught it, if you count spitting it out of your mouth.
Unfortunately, we lost the match.

"Crickets. I made a bet with a Ravenclaw for 2 galleons that Slytherin would come out a victory." I sigh. "Maybe he forgot?" Crabbe suggested. "Hey l/n. Better pay up." the Ravenclaw shouted and I gave him his money. He walked away 2 galleons richer as I roll my eyes.

. Some days later .

It was nighttime.
Draco and I snuck out of the common room to go out in the halls.
