It was dinner time in the great hall and we enjoyed our feast to end the day.
We were heading to our common room when we see the Trio and a message written on the wall.
Mrs. Norris, Filch's cat was frozen. It seemed dead.
The message read,
The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware.
It seems like it was written in blood. Everyone was confused and scared.
"Enemies of the Heir, beware," Draco repeated out loud.
"You'll be next mudbloods!" Draco threatened.
"What's going on here? Go on. Make way, make way." Mr. Filch shooed everyone.
He saw Mrs. Norris and he went mad.
"I'll kill ya!" he yelled as he grabbed Potter by his clothes.
"Argus!" We heard Dumbledore call behind us and we moved out of the way.
Dumbledore saw the message and said, "Everyone will proceed to their dormitories immediately."
We all began to leave.
"Everyone except...you three." He pointed to the trio.
Draco grabs my hand and quickly takes me through the crowd.
"Draco?" I question.
He doesn't respond.
He opens a broom cupboard and pushes me in.
He follows in behind and closes the door.
It was dark except for the light seeping through the cracks of the door.
"Do you know what this means?" he whispers.
He was so close to me that when he whispered it sounded like he was talking.
I shook my head.
"My father told me about the chamber the secrets. Over a thousand years ago, Hogwarts was made by the four wizards right?" Draco began to explain.
I nodded to show him I was listening.
"All the happy stuff between them went down when Salazar Slytherin only wanted to enlist pure-bloods into the school, but the others didn't agree.
So legend has it, Salazar had built a hidden chamber with a monster in the castle, known as the chamber of secrets. Before he left the school, he closed it. Only his own true heir could open the chamber of secrets.
Only one time was the chamber of secrets opened. My father wouldn't tell me who opened it only that they were expelled. The monster in the Chamber killed a mudblood. It's only a matter a time before he strikes again." Draco finished explaining.
"So you think someone is gonna die this year?" I smile at the thought of Granger.
"I think so, but for now, we better be cautious," Draco informed.
It went silent.
We just stood there, our faces inches apart.
"You think they're gone?" Draco finally says breaking the silence.
"yeah," I say and he opens the cupboard.
We climb out and we run to our common room.
. Sometime later... .
Today was my first real quidditch match. It was against the Gryffindor team.
I put on my Slytherin quidditch robe and headed to the entrance of the field.
