When I was in class, I always hid my hand in my sleeve of my robe so no one could see it.
Somehow it became worse.
You couldn't tell what it said anymore but the burn was still there.

.     Great Hall      .

After classes, the gang went down to the great hall, so we could grab something to eat.
I sat down at the slytherin table and grabbed some food that was there.
I opened my book and started looking at some stuff to kill time.
Draco and the rest of the guys just joked around.

"Pardon me, Professor, but what exactly are you insinuating?" I heard Umbridge say from outside the great hall.
There was a crowd forming.
I put my book down before I tell the gang, "Come on, let's go."
We head to the doors of the great hall and Umbridge was there arguing with McGonagall.

"-you conform to the prescribed disciplinary practices." McGonagall told her. "So silly of me, but it sounds as if you're questioning my authority in my own classroom. Minerva." Umbridge claps back as she takes a step up the stairs. "Not at all, Dolores." McGonagall spat as she does the same. "Merely your medieval methods."
"I...am sorry, dear. But to question my practices is to question the Ministry, and by extension the Minister himself. I am a tolerant woman, but the one thing I will not stand for is disloyalty." Umbridge finishes. McGonagall takes a step down and repeats the word disloyalty in disgust.
Umbridge takes another step up. "Things at Hogwarts are far worse than I feared. Cornelius will want to take immediate action."

.      A couple of days later      .

Umbridge was soon made high inquisitor by the Ministry Of Magic. That meant she had more power than what a regular professor had but less than a Headmaster.

It was all in the Daily Prophet. She started making decrees and Mr. Filch would hang them on a wall by the great hall. She didn't allow PDA. Which was a bummer for Draco and I.
Guess we gotta do it more privately now.

She began observing and interrogating Professors during class time. She started with Divination. "Just one question dear. You've been in this post how long exactly?" Umbridge asked. Professor Trelawney silently answered and let her teach again.
She interrupted multiple times with a fake cough or she cleared her throat.

I'm glad there's not gonna be any actual work today.

As she was walking out she asked one more question. "Could you please predict something for me?" "I'm sorry?" Trelawney started to stutter. "Since your the Divination professor, aren't able to predict something?"Umbridge sneered.
Trelawney didn't say anything.

"One teensy little prophesy?" Umbridge urged. Trelawney looked afraid. "Pity." Umbridge says as she writes something down on her parchment.
"No, wait, wait, no. I think I do see something." Trelawney shouts.
"Yes. I do. Something dark. You...are in grave danger." Trelawney finishes.
Umbridge just stared at her and smiled.
"Lovely." Umbridge walked out.
The bell rang and it was time for Potions.

When we walked in, Umbridge was already there. We took our seats before Snape began.
"I do hope you finished your Moonstone essay. It is due by the end of class today." Snape began.

"Today, you will start your essay on how to properly brew, Strengthening Solution.
You will find information on the potion in page 102 in your books." We all turned to that page.
"Now-"
Umbridge interrupts by clearing her throat.
Snape turned his attention over to her.
"You wouldn't mind answering some questions for me, would you, Professor Snape?" She asks as she takes out her clipboard.
"I guess not." Professor Snape apathetically said with a glare.

"You applied first for the Defense Against the Dark Arts post, is that correct?" Umbridge questioned him while circling him.
"Yes." Snape said apathetically. "But you were unsuccessful?" She asked. "Obviously." Snape sneered.
Ron chuckled and Snape glared at him behind Umbridge's back.

I knew this was just a way to embarrass Prof. Snape.

"That's all." She finally said as she finished writing on her clipboard.
Umbridge walked out and Snape hit Ron with a thin book across the head.
I couldn't help but snicker under my breath.
"Now, as I was saying-"
The rest of the time we worked on the essays that we had to do.

.      After classes     .

Everyone was gathering at the courtyard. I get on my tip toes but I still couldn't see anything.
"What's going on?" I asked one of the slytherins besides Draco and I. "Umbridge banned Professor Trelawney from the school." She answered.

Draco grabbed my hand and took me to an empty spot so we could see.

Mr. Filch was carrying a suitcase to Trelawney. It's probably hers.
She backed away and sat down on one of her trunks. Umbridge walked out and faced her.
Trelawney walks up to her as she stumbles on her case. "Sixteen years I've lived and taught here. Hogwarts is my home. You can't do this." Trelawney's voice was breaking.
Umbridge takes out the paper that made her a high inquisitor. "Actually, I can."

Just then McGonagall steps in and hugs Trelawney to comfort her.
"Something you'd like to say, dear?" Umbridge asked McGonagall. "Oh, there are several things I would like to say." McGonagall spat.
The big doors rattled as they opened.

Dumbledore walks out. "Professor McGonagall, might I ask you to escort Sybil back inside?" Dumbledore asked and they both walk into the castle. "Dumbledore, may I remind you that under the terms of Educational Decree Number 23, as enacted by the Minister-"

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers. You do not, however, have the authority to banish them from the grounds. That power remains with the headmaster." Dumbledore stated.

"For now." Umbridge says with an almost threatening voice.
"Don't you all have studying to do?!" He shouted as he walked back inside.

"You think she'll be able to get that power?" Draco ask me. "Knowing her, she'll try."
