One month after labor...

"James...?" I say slow while we're both looking at the two boys in front of us. They're asleep in their crib while we're watching them and they're absolutely gorgeous.

"Yea?" He says that like he has no idea what I'm talking about.

"Why did you put a sticker on one of the babies forehead?"

James looks at me for a moment before turning his head back to the babies again.

"Because I don't know which one is Nathan and which one is Daniel, do you." He says while crossing his arms.

"Well... No, but-" I say but he interrupts me before I could say anything else.

"One of them has to walk around with a sticker forever." He says while pulling his shoulders up as he looks at me again.

"They're not identical. Not all twins are identical and these two are definitely not." I say with a smile while walking away.

"Well... Now they are. I can't tell the difference nor can you." He says while following me to the kitchen.

"Yea that's because they're a month old."

"You keep dressing them the same, how am I supposed to know which one is who." He says while placing his hands on the kitchen counter.

"Remove the sticker James." I breathe out with a smile while grabbing the ingredients for the two pumpkin pie's I'm gonna make since it's Christmas.

"Not until you tell me which one is Nathan." He says while frowning his eyebrows as he leans with his arms on the counter across me.

"Fine. The right one." I say without looking at him while cutting the pumpkin in pieces.

"See, I told you. You don't know. Nathan is the one with the sticker. The left one." He says as he pats on the counter two times before walking away.

"That's what I meant!" I shout at him, and he turns around as he walks backwards. "We need the sticker." He says while pointing at me.

I let out a chuckle while rolling my eyes after he went upstairs, and I focus me on the pies again.

You know what, we're getting close to the end. So, I might as well tell you in detail how I make a Christmas dinner. You might need it someday.

I put on some Christmas songs like always and I start doing my thing. The babies came quite early, and the doctor said— and I quote; A lot of sex during the pregnancy helps... and it shows...

I place the pumpkin in the oven for about an hour at 350. Then I make the dough. Two cups of flower, a tablespoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of salt, cold unsalted butter. Mix that, pour some ice water on top of it until it's a big piece of dough. I wrap it up and let it chill in my fridge for about an hour.

I take the pumpkin out of the oven, put it in a bowl, add a tablespoon of Sinnamon, a little vanilla extract, a teaspoon of nutmeg, cloves, a little bit of ginger, half teaspoon salt and a cup of sugar. I heat that up, pour a can condensed milk to it, 2 eggs, and my secret ingredient maple syrup.

I roll out my dough, I place it in a pie plate, bake it in the oven with aluminum foil for 15 minutes. After that, I pour the mixture in it. Bake it at 350 for 55 minutes. So so so simple.

Okay I did this two times since I'm making two pies. I kinda have to since everyone is coming. Miles, Louis, Sam, Steve and of course, James Casy and me.

"What are you making?" Casy asks as soon as she smelled the pie. I saw her running downstairs after putting it in the oven.

"Pumpkin pie sweetie." I say with a smile, but she sticks her tongue out and walks away again.
