"Does this hurt?" James asks while we're walking towards his car. He's holding my waist with my arm around his shoulder and he's carrying Casy in his other arm. Oh! And I got my phone back.
"No, no I'm fine." I say as we reach the car. Finally going home after spending a couple days at the hospital.
Casy and I are sitting in the backseat and James fastens our seatbelts even though we're perfectly capable of doing that ourselves.
After he did my seatbelt, he gives me a quick kiss on my lips, and he walks away to his side of the car with a smile on his face.
Casy Lets her head fall against me as I wrap my arm around her while James drives us home. He's looking in the mirror at us every 5 goddamn seconds like were gonna disappear any moment.
After a short ride we arrive at our place. James lifts Casy up in his right arm and holds me close on the other side while we're walking inside. Well... I'm half walking half jumping since I'm still in pain but it's fine.
"I missed this place." Casy says as she looks around her.
"We missed you." James says and he lets her fall gently on the couch. He helps me lay on the couch across Casy and he grabs a blanket for the both of us.
"What do you two wanna drink?" He asks and Casy and I look at each other.
"White Wine — ice tea." We say at the same time as we look at James. He looks at us with a poker face and he nods.
"Water it is." He says and he walks away to the kitchen while we let out a chuckle.
After he brought Casy's stuff to her room again, it's getting pretty late. We already had dinner at the hospital and we're pretty tired from doing absolutely nothing.
Casy and I were watching something on tv while James was cleaning the house and putting everything back in place including my stuff that I packed since I was supposed to stay at Miles and Louis's place.
"Hey, I was thinking about mov-" James says but when he approached the couch, he sees us sleeping.
He doesn't say a thing and he grabs a chair next to the fireplace and a drink. He takes a seat, and he stares at us.
All the candles are on. The fireplace is burning and Casy and I are sleeping on the couch with our heads on each side of the couch, sharing a blanket.
The only thing he does is staring at us while taking little sips of his drink. And not in a creepy way. But in an adorable way how he can't get is eyes off us.
After a long moment I wake up slowly and he gives me a smirk.
"How long have you been staring?" I say with a smile while I'm closing my eyes again.
"Not long enough." He says and he stands up to squad next to me.
"Are you feeling okay?" He whispers so that he won't wake Casy up. He strokes my cheek and holds my hand.
"I'm feeling fine, I just wanna sleep." I say with a smile, and he leans forward to kiss me.
"You two need to get some sleep upstairs..." James says as he lifts Casy up in his arms.
She wakes up and lets out a yawn while wrapping her arms around his neck. "Am I sleeping in my room?" She asks but James shakes his head.
"Definitely not. You two are sleeping on each side of me so that if something goes wrong, I'm there." He says and I can't help but smile.
I'm trying to get up myself to walk next to him, but he stops me.
"You're not walking those stairs. I'll come back for you after I brought Casy up." He says with a serious tone.
