Niall's POV

"So, what are you and Tomi up to tonight?" I asked Mully as I once again went through every outfit in my closet.

"Just gonna hang out.  She's closing tonight so you can take Ophelia out."

"I imagine that's what I'll be saying tomorrow," I said, slightly laughing.  "If there is a tomorrow," I said, more woefully.

"There will be.  You just need to relax.  Where are you taking her?"

"To this little Salsa club I've heard about."

"You're taking her dancing?"

"Yeah, I thought it would be fun and a way to get nerves out because, well, I can't dance, and I'm hoping she can't either.  That way we can both be dorks and laugh and be at ease and maybe that will help me.  If things go the way they've been going."

I saw Mully nod his head in the reflection of the mirror.

"I just, once again, don't know what to wear?"

"Nice slacks and a nice shirt.  Did you tell her what you two were doing?"

"No.  I did ask her to wear a dress though."

"Hmmm," was his response.  I saw him typing away on his phone.

"That's not Tomi, is it?"

"It is."

"She's not asking you questions about me again, is she?"

"No.  Believe it or not, we can talk about other things besides you and Ophelia."

"How are things going?"

"Since yesterday?  Fine."

"Calling her your girlfriend, yet?"

"No.  We haven't gotten to that and I'm fine with that."

"Is she?"

"Seems to be."

"She does want to do a double date with you and Ophelia."

"Yeah?  I guess that could be fun."

"I would think so.  Would allow everyone to be less nervous."

"That's true.  I guess if there is a tomorrow with Ophelia, then sign us up?"

"Stop, Niall."

"What?"

"Stop doubting yourself.  Relax.  Have fun with the smart, pretty girl you met a couple of weeks ago.  Forget about Maggie.  Forget about what she said.  You know that none of it is true."

"Do I?"

"God, am I stuck in my own weird ass version of Groundhog Day? Yes, Niall, you do! But, to be safe, maybe you should have Ophelia rate you when you're done?"

"What?!" I nearly shouted, turning to face him.

He was trying not to laugh.  "Dude, I'm fucking kidding.  Just get the fuck out of your head for tonight.  The less you think about things, the better things will go."

I nodded, "Yeah, I know you're right.  I just need to do it."

"In more ways than one." I saw him wink at me in the mirror again.  I rolled my eyes.

"There is more to relationships than just sex, you know?"

"I know.  But the best part of the beginning of a relationship is discovering each other, in every way possible.  Plus, you two have spent enough time together that any normal "couple" would have already done the deed.  Even you admit that."
