Unrevealed Love

Chapter 7

I sigh and finally open my eyes. I blow out air and slump my shoulders out of relief no baby belly. At all. Maybe just a little bloated but no signs of baby belly. 

“YO! Infinity are you going to come out today or...” Alida bosses from out of the changing room. I roll my eyes and hurriedly slip on the dress. 

“Wanna help zip it up?” I question as I open the cubby door. I spin around, lift up my hair, and then turn around so Alida can see me in the dress. “Yes, no, maybe so?” 

“Try the silver one again.” I groan, but walk back into the dressing room and put back on the tight fitting short silver dress. One side of the dress was white with sparkles and the other side was gray. It was pretty. Not sure if it's homecoming 'style' but it sure is pretty and only 25 dollars! Finally hopping into the dress I walk out and spin around for Alida.  Alida had already picked her outfit last week, it was a pretty, teal and came to mid-thigh, it had some ruffles on the bottom, and sparkles. It's gorgeous. 

“Yes?” I finally spit out. Alida smirks and nods. I smile as I walk back into the dressing room and change out of the dress, into my jeans and black tank top as it was only 60 degrees today in California. 

“So are you going to ask Colt to homecoming?” Alida asks as I grab my bag that the dress is in and small at the clerk, finally we leave the dress shop. 

I shrug. “He's not even my boyfriend.” I reply. 

“So? I'm going with Owen and we aren't dating.” 

I roll my eyes. “You guys have been having a thing for over three years, Alida, you guys hooked up at least 4 times in the past year. He asked you to homecoming last year and winter ball.” I correct. 

Alida shoves me and I laugh. “What about that hot kiss three days ago?” Alida wiggles her eyebrows. 

“It was a kiss. Its not like we hooked up in the back of his car.” 

Alida smacks my arm. “It was one time! One! And that will never be repeated until this day.” I shake my head and chuckles. “But come on just slowly start talking about it. Anyway you have one week to make him go with and you guys are going on a date tonight.”

“And?” I declare. 

“And you can just bring it up, knowing he's a guy he'll flip it over but then you gotta bring it up again towards the end of the date.” I groan, so much work. I take my phone out once it starts ringing, Kathy. 

“Hey Kath, what's up?” I answer. 

“Did you find a dress yet?” she asks. 

“Yes I did, it's white and grey.”

Kathy makes an 'awe' sound. “So are you going with that Colton kid?” she asks. 

“I don't know.” I mumble and open the exit door for Alida.
