Alida comes by my side and gives me a smile.
“You never called me back this weekend.” She announces. I close my locker.
“Sorry, I was just busy with Nathan being back home and everything.” I lie. Alida nods and then Owen comes walking over.
“Hey, Infinity. Where's Colton?” He questions, I swallow. “What?” Owen asks as he creases his eyebrows at me. “What's wrong? What did he do?” I ignore Owen when I see Colt in the corner of my eyes. I turn to look at him, his eye's bruised, lip cut, and a cast on his right hand, when he looks over here, I immediately look away. “What happened?” Owen sighs.
“Guys I'll be late for first period.” I say then walk past them. I take the long way as I see Colt taking the short way.
Its not that I don't like Colt anymore, its just I was scared of him. The way his voice was, how his hands were around Cage's neck...How he was acting just scared me. I don't need to go through what happened last Summer, and if that's how Colt is going to act then I'm not going near him, especially now that I'm pregnant this time.
Not to mention who Lydia is...I heard Cage mention how Colt scared her off. I really didn't blame this mysterious women. Colt scared me too. Obviously this Lydia girl is special to Colt if that's how he acted...
Right now I was too tired to care about this Lydia chick or Colt. All I wanted to do is sleep and sleep and never wake up.

I jolt awake in my sleep when I feel someone poking my shoulder. I take my ear buds out of my ears and Five Finger Death Punch blasts in my eerie room. I turn my head to come face to face with Colt. I scream and slap a hand over my mouth, my heart beating too fast.
“Infinit-”
“Get out, Colt.” I cut him off as I drop my hand off my mouth. Colt brushes his thumb over my cheek and wipes a wet tear.
“No, not until you tell me what I did to make you run off scared. Do I scare you? Was it the other night?” Colt whispers as he rests his chin on the edge of my bed. His blue eyes sparkling with regret. An image of Colt having Cage pressed against his wall flashes in my mind and I wrap a protective arm around my belly. Colt sees the move I did and he sighs, standing up. “Infinity, I would never, never hurt you. I would never lay a finger on you if that's why I scared you off. God damn it.” He whispers as he runs his hand over his face. “Infinity, I would never think about hurting you not in a million years.” Then, the image of Colt in the pool flashes in my mind, the vulnerability in him. How he was so calm and relaxed, like nothing in the world could harm him. I take a deep breath and open the covers for him, he comes slipping next to me. He presses a hand onto my stomach. “Infinity, I would never hurt you or her.”
“Lance hurt me.” I blurt out. Colt freezes and his muscles tense. “It was last summer, he was drunk.” I whisper.
“Where?” Colt asks. I show him my hands where there were still a couple scars from some cuts that were too deep and then I bring my hands up to my neck, the sick image of when his icy fingers were wrapped around it. I close my eyes and sigh. I had only ever told Owen about it, he only knew what really happened at the park that night and did it feel so damn good to let it out. “Infinity, don't cry.” Colt whispers as he grabs my hands and plants kisses all over my palms, he then attacks my neck with kisses and my heart melts. I giggle and I force my eyes open when I feel something on my stomach, Colt has his lips on my stomach. “I love you two, okay? Next time I scare you just tell me, please.” Colt begs as he looks up at me. I cup Colt's cheeks in my palm and press my lips to his.
