Alida shakes her head when I walk out of my bathroom. I groan but catch the new shirt she throws to me. I take off the shirt I'm wearing now and slip on the one she threw me. Alida smirks then wiggles her eyebrows at me. I look at myself in the mirror hanging from my wall, I grin at my reflection. My light blond hair was down in waves, my pale complexion was still pale, my brown eyes were popping with the mascara and eyeliner I was wearing, my legs looked toned in the shorts I was wearing, my shirt showed off a little stomach, but not any cleavage, and my height is now 4'11 with my 2 inch heels. I looked normal.
Not in a couple more weeks.
“You look hot. I'm happy for you Infinity, you're finally getting over the break up. I love you!” Alida gushes as she jumps off my bed and engulfs me in a hug. I look over at my clock hanging on the wall and groan when I see that it reads 7:55. I gasp.
“A it's 7:55! He told me to be there at 8!” I yell as I grab my phone and keys. Alida starts shoving me towards my door.
“Then go!” Alida laughs.
“Wish me good luck!” I yell.
“Good luck!” Alida yells back.
“Bye Kathy, bye Dad!” I yell, then I leave the house. The warm California air hitting me.
I guess I'm nervous about having to deal with this pregnancy alone, not even to mention the fear and devastation when Dad and Kathy find out. Kathy finding out about her 17 year old step-daughter being pregnant and Dad. Dad is going to be outraged, pissed, heart broken, and saddened. What if they kick me out? Then where would I go? Who would I stay with?
Alida. What would Alida say? Will she ever want to be my friend again? Will she have my back? Is Alida going to be heart broken that her best friend is pregnant? She's going to hate me...
I take my keys out of the ignition and hop out of my truck, shoving the keys in my back pocket. The party was in swing, loud music, people making out, drinks being thrown around, drugs, and dancing. And that's all in the front lawn. I sigh and walk into the house, the house crowded as hell. People were groping each other, making out, dancing, drinking with each other, and it was a mess. I walk through the crowds and push people away from me.
Do I seriously want to be here while I'm 2 weeks pregnant?
People kept touching my butt and throwing themselves at me, making me tumble over my feet, and I hated it to be honest. I push this kid away from the back door and push myself out in the backyard. I sigh of relief when I walk down the porch and into the backyard, a couple were making out near a bush, two guys were playing beer pong, and three girls were smoking some weed. I make my way to the little swing set in the back of the backyard. I sit down and start pushing myself.
“Glad you could make it.” I look up to see Colton walking over.
I smile at him. “Had to get some fresh air,.” I explain.
Colton takes the swing beside me. “Not a party person?” Colton chuckles.
