Chapter 9

Okay I know at the end of this chapter you'll probably be thinking did I miss a chapter? And no you didnt because I dont explain Infinity meeting her brother and mother because that's one of her 'secrets' so I dont wanna spoil it yet ;) 

So you didnt miss me explaining her visit with her mom and brother!

 I jump when I feel someone tasering my side. I hear Alida's laugh and glare at her. 

“Dude, you're falling asleep. I was just waking you up. Why are you so tired?” Alida asks then she makes an 'o' shape with her mouth. “You stayed up last night visiting your Mom and Brother, right?” 

I nod. “I didn't get home til 2,” I mumble.

Alida raises her eyebrows. “That late?” I nod. “I guess its good, though.” 

“I dodged Colt all day yesterday, though.” 

Alida shrugs. “Just call him, and explain that you were busy yesterday.” 

“Alright, hey wanna ditch the last few minutes of last period?” I question as we dropped out of our last class a couple weeks back and now just have study hall. 

“Yesss!” Alida screeches then picks up her bags and we head out. 

“My house?” she questions, I nod. “Call him.” Alida bosses. 

I roll my eyes and grab my phone, calling Colt. Finally after six rings he picks up. 

“What?” Colt snaps. 

“Colt?” I mumble. 

“Yeah?” 

Well what's up his ass? “I just called to apologize for not getting back at you yesterday, I had family problems I had to deal with.”

“Yeah, no, its whatever. Its cool.” 

“Colt? Are you okay?” I ask. This is definitely not like him. 

“No, my sister's at the hospital.” Colt mumbles. 

My eyes widen. “Oh my god, is she okay?” I blurt out. 

“Well, she fell down the stairs and broke a rib if that's okay?” 

I roll my eyes. “Do you need anything?” I question. 

“A black coffee sounds really good at the moment.” I smile, now this sounds like the Colt I know. 

“Alright, meet me in the lobby in ten.” 

“Thanks, Infinity.” Then Colt hangs up.
