Unrevealed Love

Chapter 33

My heart leaps. 

He's in jail? We should be celebrating! No more worrying if he's going to get us, no more fear! 

“Don't smile, not yet, Infinity.” Colt sighs when he looks up. “I'm not telling you this to scare you, it's for your own good.” 

“What are you talking about? Colt he's in jail, we should be happy!” I exclaim. 

Colt shakes his head and grabs my arm, pulling me closer to him. “Infinity remember when I told you Heath is a powerful man?” I nod, “He's going to get out in a matter of days hell even hours. To make matters worst I'm the reason he's in that cell. He's going to come after me, with twice as much anger.” 

I gulp. “What did you do?” I whisper. 

“I ratted where they sell the pot to the police. It was stupid, I know. I want, no, I need you to be careful, for me, Infinity. We're not safe anymore.” 

Everything in my body felt frozen, I couldn't talk, couldn't move, and couldn't think. I mean Heath and everyone else have yet another reason to go after Colt, not to mention me. I never brought him to the place! So, not only are they after Colt nor me but they're after both of us. Just you know twice as scary as they were before. 

Oh God. They know where I live. What if they break in during the night? Would I be safe? Would my child be safe? No, no, no, no this is not happening right now, if maybe I just pinch myself I'll wake up. None of this happened and I'm not living in even more fear. 

“Come over for the night? You'll have River to get your mind off everything, there's always a bunch of movies we can watch. Then I can bring you to school tomorrow.” I bite my lip but nod, I turn around, and start packing some clothes. As I grab clothes here and there I try to take deep breaths as my anxiety is threatening to take over my body. All I wanted to do is cry and hide myself from the world. 

I don't want anyone to hurt my baby.

“Colt?” He nods as he takes my bag from my hands. “River mentioned a couple weeks ago that while you were in the hospital, you and your parents got in a fight. You cried, why?” I question. 

“She can just never keep her mouth closed can she?” Colt mutters but he turns to face me. “Its stupid.” 

I walk over to him. “Obviously it wasn't stupid, Colt.” 

Colt groans but steps closer to me. “My dad. He doesn't like the fact that you're pregnant and he's just an ass about it.” 

“Especially when it isn't your child.” I add. 

Colt nods. “I told him that we're going to raise her like its my own but, my dad is my dad. He just said some mean and unacceptable words. We're still going to raise this girl together, whether he likes it or not, okay?”
