I shrug on my backpack as Colt and I walk inside the school doors.
“Are we stopping at your locker first?” Colt questions, I nod.
“So you know how you know my friends?” Colt nods. “I barely know your best friends, I mean I met Jeremy once but I want to hang out with them, get to know them.”
Colt chuckles. “You don't want to know my friends.” He replies.
I narrow my eyes at him once we stop at our lockers. “Please.” I beg with a frown. Colt bends down to my height, his face centimeters away from mine, as he was about to open his mouth a person clears their throat next to us. We both look to our left to see Lance looking at us with an eyebrow up. Colt stands at full height and clenches his jaw. “What Lance?” I question.
“Can I talk to you? In private?” He asks.
I shake my head. “You can tell me in front of Colt.”
Lance nods. “Well I was just wondering if you would like to hang out with me this weekend? Talk about our child and the future.”
I chuckle. “Lance you can't be serious.. This isn't your child, you told me so the day you walked out on me. You said you want nothing to do with this child nor me and I'm doing that. So no, we can not hang out because there's nothing to talk about. Colt and I have everything planned out. Its done, so walk away, Lance.” I say.
Lance creases his eyebrows. “You can't be serious, right?”
“Yes, Lance. Now please go away.” I say. Lance sighs but turns around and walks down the hallway.
“That kid is seriously so annoying.” Colt mumbles beside me, I elbow his stomach, but keep a smirk on my face. “Heath's out of jail...”
I snap my head to him. “Is not...”
“He got out this morning.” Colt runs his thumb over my eyebrow. “Stop freaking out, he's not going to hurt you okay? Because I won't let any one of them hurt you. Anyway graduations next week, you excited?” Colt questions as he changes the subject.
I shrug. “Not really, its going to remind me that I can't go to college.”
Colt rolls his eyes and leans against his locker. “Just because you are going to have a baby doesn't mean you have to miss out on college.”
I sigh. “I know, but still.” I reply. Colt chuckles and wraps his arms around my waist then brings me closer to him. “So how's your face?” I ask as I lightly run my fingers over his bruised and stitched up cheek.
“I iced it last night, so its fine today, the swelling went down.” I nod.
“Awe, well aren't you two adorable.” I smile and look over to see Alida and Owen walking over. “Sooo I heard you two have a name?”
