Unrevealed Love

Chapter 19

Alida and I laugh at a joke Owen makes but Colt's advice keeps ringing in my head, 'Pretend you're on top of the world, don't let anyone know what they do is hurting you.' 

“So Owen and I are getting some pizza, why don't you and Colt tag along?” Alida questions. 

I give her a smile then grab my lock on my locker, winding it to my code. “Yeah, sure I think- oh my God.” I whisper when I open my locker and millions of condoms fall out. People all around me laugh as I stare dumbfounded at all the condoms. Was this suppose to be some kind of sick joke? If it is you don't see me laughing. 

“What are you guys laughing at?” Owen snaps and everyone stops laughing and walks away. I look at Alida as tears fall down. 

“Come here.” She whispers and I hug her, my sobs hard. “Come on let's bring you to Colt.” I nod then follow Owen and Alida out. People all around us staring and pointing, some even giggling. For once in my 17 years of living life I have never felt such humiliation. 

First it was papers going around saying I didn't know who the father of my child is and now someone filled my locker with condoms. Where was the joy in this? Where did they find the happiness in making someone's life miserable? How were they getting the joy from it? Seeing me cry? Well, well done they exceeded in this dumb game, I've been humiliated, I've cried, and sure as hell probably won't be going to school tomorrow. Is this what they wanted? If so then they played this game too easy. They played this game too easy and painful. They wanted to see me hurt and broken down. I was strong but yet it only took them two days. Two days to live a life full of humiliation. 

Hope they are happy to see someone so broken down. 

“Holy moly.” I look over at Alida to see her gawking at Colt's house. 

“Told you he was rich.” Owen smirks. Alida sticks her tongue out at Owen but then she turns around. 

“Hey sweetie, you're in good arms now. Please get some rest, call me later!” Alida yells as I get out of Owen's car. I nod my head at Alida then walk to his door, where I ring the doorbell. Minutes later the door is yanked open to reveal Colt eating an apple in a school uniform, he creases his eyebrows when he sees me at his doorstep. His shining blue eyes look behind me then he holds up his thumb and I hear Owen's car drive off. That's when I burst into tears and grab Colt in a hug. 

“What's wrong?” Colt asks. I ignore him as I continue to shed humiliation tears. Colt picks me up bridal style. “Grey can you shut the door and tell Lucia to start a bath in my bathroom?” Colt's voice politely asks. 

“Yes, Master Colton.” An old voice replies. I look up at Colt and he looks down at me, apple in mouth. Even though I hated myself at this moment I had to laugh at how ridiculous he looked. Colt rolls his eyes but trudges down more stairs and finally I'm settled down on a bed. Colt takes the apple out of his mouth and bends down to my height. 

“Now will you tell me what happened?” He whispers. 

I sniffle and slouch down. “Someone put condoms in my locker, nearly over a hundred of them.” I answer. Colt sighs and drops his head.
