all IN the plan

August 14th, 1991. 8:23 P.M.
A day later was when their plan would really start coming into effect. It was before the school bell sounded for class that Dallas and Vanessa crouched behind the dirty fence that lined the football field, remaining out of sight.
"It smells like dead rodents over here." Vanessa complained. She stood gently onto the ashy dirt, careful not to ruin her shoes. Dallas dove straight into it.
"That's probably ground up cockroaches." he said so calmly. Vanessa winces at the thought. He was to dead serious not to believe.
She followed him as he crept around the other side of the field to get a better look at his ex-girlfriend, Marla.
"I've hatched a little plan to kill two birds with one stone." he chuckled mischievously.
Dallas stared off into the distance where she was playing volleyball. To get back at her for what she did would bring a great deal of pleasure to not only him, but to Vanessa as well. She hated to see someone get taken advantage of like that.
"I'm all ears."
Vanessa said. She realised she would do anything at this point. It wasn't like she had a better plan for the both of them. Dallas was the one coming up with it all.
"Lindsey is stinking rich, isn't she?"
Dallas asked. Vanessa was slightly taken back by the question. She didn't know what this had to do with anything, and honestly didn't feel comfortable with disclosing her friends personal information.
"You could say that." she answered timidly.
It was true. After all most of the people who attended Blueridge High School were middle class with the exception of people like Dallas. There was also the other end of the scale with people like Lindsey.
