August 19th, 1991. 9:11 A.M.
Rachael plopped her handbag down on the stool and leaned over Daniel's shoulder at his work. The teacher paired her with Dallas and him as they were familiar with each other.
Daniel glanced annoyingly at her as he would anyone else, "I thought you were dying your hair blonde?" he grumbled, totally unaware of her reasonings.
"You don't dye your hair blonde. You slowly fade it." she informed him in a matter of fact tone, "You like the look?"
"I don't understand why you needed to have an entire new wardrobe for your first day of school. But hey, I'm just a dude."
She spun around in a little circle, showing off the entirety of her outfit, "New school. New Rachael." she said, smacking her freshly coated glossed lips together.
Rachael turned her attention to Dallas when Daniel ignored her. He had already met her before, and didn't seem to be fazed by how she acted towards him.
"And what is such a smart, handsome boy such as yourself doing?" she flattered him, pressing herself against his forearm.
Dallas looked at Daniel, and they shared a quick glance that suggested they both saw through her façade. As Rachael continued to bat her eyelashes at him, Vanessa couldn't concentrate on the work in front of her and Lindsey.
Her friend noticed that each time Vanessa tried to speak, that her words stumbled and she would continuously look up to Dallas and Rachael to see what they were doing.
Rachael nuzzled her neck in his shoulder, and glared back at her with a little smirk. Vanessa growled in a low tone, she felt a sort of possession over Dallas. He needed to be thinking about Lindsey not Rachael.
Lindsey managed to gain her attention again, as the two scanned the textbook for their next element for the science experiment. They checked all the labels only to realise they didn't have any left.
