August 27th, 1991. 10:13 P.M.
A few hours had passed and Vanessa's eyesight was spinning out of control in the middle of the party scene. She had lost Lindsey a while back and hadn't been able to find her since.
Vanessa felt like she could be anyone, when not completely sober. She didn't need to think. She just did, so drink after drink she knocked back to waste time until her friend showed up again.
She soon found herself trying to climb up the staircase to find Dallas. As she made it onto the second floor, she crawled on her knees to a room, only to find it was empty and tried another one.
Vanessa lifted herself from the floor, and stumbled in drunkenly to one of the bedrooms. Dallas and Rachael snapped up from the bed, as she tried to regain vision.
"Oh, Daniel!" Vanessa giggled, mistaking Dallas for him. She stammered over to the mattress and ended up tripping onto the floor instead.
Rachael smoothed down her dress, angrily glaring at Vanessa, who had interrupted them. Dallas helped her up on the bed, "Vanessa. You're drunk?"
He shook his head, half proud and half concerned with her. He was awfully relieved that she had walked in when she did, or else things would've gotten more intimate fast with Rachael.
"Daniel!" Vanessa burst again. Dallas stands over her, as she snuggles onto the bed with a pillow, "Daniel, I have a confession!"
Dallas tells her to relax and close her eyes, while Rachael storms out of the bedroom. He flinched as she slammed the door, then looked down to Vanessa as she zoning in and out.
"I think I love him, Daniel." she admitted, Dallas was curious, she thought Daniel was here not him. Whatever she needed to say, he wanted to hear.
"Who do you love?" he asked, now needing to know who she was speaking about. There is a pause, and a little smile sprawled over her face as she rolled on the blanket. Vanessa holds the pillow to her chest, her eyes are still shut, but then she speaks...
