Prank night was pretty much a bust. The gang decided to just go swimming in the large pool before leaving MFHS.

Tyler grinned, "Twenty bucks to any gals who wants to go skinny dipping!'

Matt laughed and said, "Ty, you're gonna get pushed in the pool in your clothes if you don't shut it!"

Bonnie kicked at Tyler's leg with her foot, "First of all, Tyler, that is disgusting. Second of all, twenty bucks? Like you live in a freakin' mansion. Cheap ass!"

Elena squealed as Stefan picked her up and pretended to throw her in the pool.

"My cell phone is in my pocket and if you throw me in, we're done! Not kidding, Stefan," Elena smirked as he carefully put her down and backed up.

"I love you," Stefan said apologetically.

"You better. Last one to get dressed and in the pool is a rotten egg!" Elena yelled following Caroline and Bonnie into the locker room.

Matt, Tyler, and Stefan looked at each other.

"Can't we just swim in our boxers?" Matt asked loudly.

"You could if you wear boxers...," Stefan said awkwardly.

"Dude, too much information. Do you like need to borrow shorts?" Tyler asked in a low voice.

"Yeah, actually, that would be great. I guess I just got in the habit of going.... commando...Thanks, man," Stefan finished.

"I'll grab some and be right back," Tyler said trotting off to the boys' locker room.

Matt asked, "Did people, like in olden times, not have underwear?"

"Oh no, we had underwear, they were a bit longer and bulkier," Stefan said with his face reddening.

"Sorry, am I embarrassing you? I didn't mean to, I just don't know that much about stuff like that," Matt added.

"No, it's fine. Sorry, I can be a little old-fashioned. Being around all of you makes me want to be young and fun and happy. I want to be the kind of boyfriend Elena deserves," Stefan confided.

Matt's face fell, "Whatever, man."

Stefan realized that he had just hurt Matt. "Matt, I'm sorry. I didn't mean..." But Matt had already jumped into the pool.

Tyler called to Stefan, "Come on, Stefan. I found you shorts. Hurry up."

A few minutes later, everyone was jumping or getting pushed into the pool. Stefan came out and his eyes got wide to see Elena in her black lace bra and panties. She noticed his attention and explained, "I refuse to wear that ugly one piece uniform. My underwear is actually even less revealing than my actual bikini, so I thought it would be fine....I mean, it's not like it is see through, right?"

Stefan's voice caught in his throat, "Oh, yeah, it's great."

From behind, Stefan and Elena heard, "What my brother means to say is that you have beautiful underwear, Elena. I really like the color black on you."

Elena laughed. Stefan groaned, "Damon, what are you doing here?"

"You left me a text that you were swimming and I thought I should supervise. I don't see a life guard on duty," Damon yelled out.
