"Ah Kol, you're going to be late for class!" Estel announced as Kol walked her to next class. "I'm all the way in the art wing..."

"No worries. Say, Estel, how about we go to the Grill tonight and talk. Just us," Kol asked shyly. The hallway was starting to clear out which told him he was going to be late for Mr. Tobias Felt's advanced history class, which he was now failing.

"Like a date?" Estel prodded. "Um, okay. If we are allowed to. You know, a lot is going on, but I'd like that."

Kol said, "Good. Okay, I better go. I usually save Clinton Travail from getting a wedgie right now in the second floor bathroom. Bye, darling."

Estel laughed and watched the handsome vampire skip away, his brown hair looked spikier today. Was he using gel? He had doused himself in a new cologne. With Estel's heightened werewolf senses, the cologne was overpowering.

Kol saved Clinton from getting bullied and managed to slip into class before old man Fell noticed he was late, but realized he had forgotten his class materials. He was able to compel the bloke next to him to give him his textbook when he realized it was time for another pop quiz! He hadn't studied.

"Nice of you to join us Mr. Mikaelson," Mr. Fell snapped. Shite, the old bastard had noticed he was late. "Number your papers one to ten."

Kol got a pencil and paper from a girl behind him and get his paper ready.

Mr. Fell started, "Number one. While most looked to Germany's invasion of Poland as the start of World War II in 1939, Japan had already been at war with China since what year?"

Kol stared at number one. He was about to write "1938", when the girl behind him whispered, "'37."

"Thanks," he whispered.

Mr. Fell went on, "Number two. The reparations placed on Germany in 1918 are likely the biggest cause of World War II, what was responsible for these reparations?"

Kol knew this one was the Treaty of Versailles. He had once spent the night at Versailles during the reign of Louis, the one they called the sun king. God, that man stunk to high hell, though.

"Number three. In what year was Hitler elected Chancellor of German paving the way for him to pass legislation to cement his authoritative rule?" Fell droned on.

Kol thought this was 1934. The girl behind whispered, "'33."

Kol uttered, "Bloody hell."

Mr. Fell went on, " Number four. What battle was responsible for the largest loss of American soldier's lives?"

Kol had no idea. He had been in a damn box. Maybe he could have helped, but he missed the whole bloody war. Thanks, Nik. The girl behind him was silent. He wrote, "D-day."

Fell continued, "Number five. The Nazi's Sieg Heil March was a pirated version of which university's fight song?" Fell played this song all the time, Kol wondered if he was a closet Nazi.

Kol remembered the old man rambling about attending Harvard, or was it Yale? He wrote "Yale."

The next Kol gave Kol chills, "Number six. It's estimated that what percentage of Soviet men born in 1923 died in World War II?"

He knew this one, "80%."

Fell smirked, "Number 7. Which leader famously claimed that he returned from Munich with an agreement of "Peace in our time" in 1938?"

Kol knew it wasn't Churchill. What was the fool's bloody name? Neville! Aye, it was Neville.

"Number eight. True or false: The Messerschmitt Me-262 was the first deployed fighter jet in history," Mr. Felt said with a sparkle in his eye.
