Mystic Falls High School

Morning Break

"It's beautiful, Tyler," Caroline breathed in delight. She took the gold locket out of the box and opened it. "It's a picture of us!" Tyler always had the best of everything so it never occurred to Caroline to question where he got the money for an expensive gift. He wore $200 shoes.

"I hoped you would like it," Tyler smiled. "I know I haven't been easy to get along with lately. I guess it is my way of saying, don't dump me for a guy like Dimwit."

"Ha, I never would," Caroline said hugging Tyler. "But did you guys make up yet?"

"Yeah, we're cool. He went from wanting to have me thrown off the team to asking me to help him throw a party when his parents go away this weekend. Weird how that happens," Tyler mused, rubbing her back. "But I guess even big guys can't carry all those kegs alone."

"Hey, there's Elena. I have to go. Thank you, I love it. See ya for lunch?" Caroline asked pulling away.

"Yeah," Tyler responded, "And Care...I love you, too."

Caroline skipped over to where her girlfriends were. "Look what Ty got me! It's a locket."

Estel touched it gently, "It's lovely." Her auburn hair was in braids and she was wearing her combat boots with a long, tight black dress.

"Hey, where's Kol today?" Caroline said, thanking her.

"Suspended. That asshole principal has it out for him. He really didn't even do anything. It's bullshit!" Estel spat. "We should get some fucking payback."

Elena frowned, "Girls, I agree that Mohinder is an ass, but this sounds like more trouble to get revenge...unless we didn't get caught!"

April and Rebekah came up to the group.

"Practice after school, Caroline?" Rebekah inquired.

Caroline was admiring her necklace, "Yup."

Elena said, "Estel wants to avenge Kol's suspension by doing something to Mohinder. You guys in?"

April blinked, "Oh no, I'm out of this one. I know how all your little escapes end up..."

"How?" Rebekah prompted.

"With all of us ass up over someone's lap?" Caroline cut in. "Sorry, girls, I'm out. Kol is a big boy and he can take care of himself. These things never end well. Gotta get to the prom committee meeting."

"Wait," Bonnie said, suddenly getting off her phone. "What if we could get the principal and not get in trouble...As well as earn money for a good cause?"

"Bonnie, I didn't even think you were paying attention. How were you texting?" Elena asked with a suspicious glance at Bonnie's cell phone.

"No one," Bonnie smirked, "But my cousin mentioned a fundraiser they used to do where the students paid money to throw a pie in the face of a teacher or administrator who got the most money. The money goes to charity and it happens in front of the whole school. But if we made sure Mohinder 'won', then it's a win-win situation."

Caroline was excited, "We do need money for the prom committee and the sports boosters. Let's try it, I'm sure Ric would also volunteer. Maybe Miss Freedman? The whole school knows what a neat freak Mohinder is so...this would be his worst nightmare."

Estel giggled, "Then, maybe he will have other things on his mind then roaming the school looking for problems where none exist. Like why doesn't he ever go out to the smoker's pit and catch the stoners smoking herb? He's a freak!"
