Rebekah was just starting her punishment when Kol sauntered in.

"Lines, huh?" Kol said peering over her shoulder.

Rebekah went as if to stab him with the pen and he moved back suddenly with vampire speed.

"Get out, Kol. I'm not lining lines. It's not your bloody business," Rebekah spat.

"It's just odd that I always get my arse thrashed when....you don't. Is that bleedin' fair?" Kol replied.

"Elijah feels bad, okay? He smacked my behind really hard in front of Sage and Finn. He bruised my arm even," Rebekah said starting to write again.

"But what did you do?" Kol pressed.

Rebekah tried to not snicker and failed, "I pushed him in the hot tub in between Sage and Finn. You should have seen his face..."

Kol was shocked, "You did that and only got a little hand smacking! I've rolled my eyes at times and had to go cut a switch."

Rebekah shrugged, "I know. What do you want me to do? Beg for a whipping. No thank you. I'm fine staying here anyway. Can you bugger off, please?"

"Aye, just have a quick question before I go enjoy my day off, not to rub it in or anything. When you went out with that Brotherhood of the Five bloke did he ever say how one became a hunter? I know it was a while ago, but I was just wondering," Kol said casually.

"You were just wondering? That happened 900 years ago. Kol, either tell me what is going on or get out and leave me to my apology letters. I have eight more to write. I just wrote yours as you were babbling," Rebekah smirked.

Kol groaned, "So I shall tell you, but don't go blabbing it. Estel's father had a knife that he left her. It had the Brotherhood of the Five symbol on it. I'm afraid that she is a potential hunter."

Rebekah dropped her pen and turned to him in alarm, "But she's a wolf! How can she be both?"

"Thank about it? If her mum was a wolf and her da was a hunter...But how do we tell for sure?" Kol breathed raggedly. He wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer.

"Alexander told me that there is a tattoo that other they can see. So we were have to find another hunter and see if she has the markings," Rebekah revealed gravely.

"What is this tattoo? A symbol?" Kol asked.

"No, it's a map," Rebekah whispered. "The map to the cure to vampirism."

"What? That sounds like a myth," Kol exclaimed.

Elijah opened the door, "Kol, leave Rebekah to her letters. I'm sure you can find something to do. She is in time out all day as part of her punishment. Did we not make that clear?"

Kol frowned, "Yes, Elijah. You did. How come I never get these this kind of treatment? I just get my tail lit up and thrown in the corner."

"Kol, every time I have tried to give you alternative punishments in the past, you end up getting a thrashing as well...Or you could just obey and not push the limits of every rule so much?" Elijah smiled guiding him out affectionately.

Rebekah turned back to her letters. Elijah got Kol on his way and then asked Rebekah if she needed anything.

"No, Elijah, I am fine. I feel like a bit of a leper, but I know I am in disgrace," Rebekah articulated.
