AN: smut warning

Thursday night with Chris ended up being rather eventful and fun. Chris helped Jamie by telling her what to expect during movie and show auditions, and they ran through a few mock ones until she felt comfortable. Then the drinks began to flow.

It turns out, Chris can make a mean Cosmo when he wants to, which happened to be Jamie's favorite mixed drink. They watched a couple of movies, which left them curled up together on the couch asleep till the early morning... and Jamie was almost late for her shift.

~~~~~~~~
Jamie grumbled to herself as she rubbed her temples and checked her desk clock for the fifth time that evening. Her light hangover was long gone, but the stress of knowing she had an hour left in her shift made her cranky. It didn't help that the text from Sebastian she'd gotten that morning still dwelled in her mind. I wish he was coming in tonight instead of tomorrow. One more day isn't bad but... it is at the same time.
Once she finished her final case of the week and packed up her bag, she made her way to the front door of the building where Chis would be meeting her. Not seeing his car, Jamie quickly pulled out her phone and checked her messages but found none from Chris. "Where the hell is he?" she murmured. "He's never late."
A few minutes later, after having found a spot to sit on a nearby bench, Jamie heard a horn honk. She looked up and saw Chris' car pulling up toward the entrance. Jamie stood from her spot, turning to grab her bag from the ground. She heard the car door open, paying no mind at first until she turned back to see the person that had exited the vehicle.
Sebastian didn't have time to say a single word as he watched Jamie drop her bag and run towards him, making him rush to catch her in his arms, feeling as her legs wound around his waist. "Dragă mea... god I've missed you."
Jamie couldn't hold back the tears that streamed down her face as she felt her heart become complete once more. "You're here," she gasped.
"I promised I'd be back before you knew it, didn't I?" He laughed softly as he lowered her back to the ground.
"You told me that you weren't getting in until late tomorrow," she countered as she quickly wiped her eyes. "It's so good to see you."
"I know, sweetheart. I'm sorry I lied to you," he pulled her in close, "But I wanted to be able to surprise you since I know you had a rough week."
She smiled and buried her head into the crook of his neck, placing a kiss to his skin. "It's the best surprise I could ever get."
Sebastian gently kissed her temple. "How about we head home, and I keep my other promises I made?" he teased.
"Home sounds amazing," she agreed. Reluctantly, Jamie let go of him to turn and retrieve her bag. "Are we going to my apartment? Or Chris's house?"
"Whichever you prefer, sweetheart. Chris said he can get a hotel room if you want to go back to his place, or he would understand if we go to your apartment. Wherever you feel more comfortable," he smiled as he opened the passenger door for her.
"I like the idea of going back to my place... but I have a feeling we'd be a bit loud tonight." Jamie grinned as she watched Sebastian turn and open the passenger door for her so she could climb into Chris's car. As soon as Sebastian sat in the driver's seat, she reached for his hand, not wanting to spend any time apart while she had him with her.
Sebastian squeezed her hand. "Chris' house it is then." Once settled in the car, Sebastian sent a quick message to Chris before pulling out onto the street and heading towards the house. "So, how was your day today, sweetheart?" Seb asked, trying to make small talk as they drove.
