Sebastian and Jamie set off the next morning once they bought a rental car. They drove with the top down and listened to anything on the radio that caught their ear. Since they were in no rush, the pair made time to stop at any little roadside stores that came into sight as they drove.

The Grand Canyon was their first stop. After a night of rest from the drive, they took a tour and took as many pictures as they could to seal the memory. As night descended on them, Jamie stared up at the stars, amazed at the view. "I've never seen the night sky look like this."

"It is beautiful, isn't it?" Sebastian replied, his eyes fixed on the sky above him. The wind blew softly against his cheeks and sent shivers through his body. He looked over at Jamie who was wearing a thin blanket wrapped around her shoulders.

"It makes you feel so... small," she murmured. Jamie looked over at Sebastian and smiled at him. "This was the best idea."

Seb wrapped an arm around Jamie, pulling her into his side. "Sometimes it's nice to get out of the city and away from the lights. And I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather be here with."

She smiled at him before leaning over to kiss him softly. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

The following morning, Jamie and Sebastian continued on their trip, making their way to Lake Havasu. Once they had checked into their hotel, they made their way to the Desert Bar to have a couple of drinks and some food. While there, they enjoyed the live music and unique atmosphere.

"Do you think we could go for a swim?" Jamie suggested as they left the bar.

"Sure, why not," Sebastian shrugged with a smile.

Making a quick stop back at their hotel they changed into their bathing suits. After throwing on some simple clothes to cover them for the drive and grabbing a couple of towels to bring with them they made their way to the London Bridge and the beach below.

Jamie sighed as she stepped onto the sand, enjoying how it felt between her toes. "I love beaches... they're one of the most relaxing places. Besides being on a horse."

"It is a nice way to unwind from the chaos," he agreed. Sebastian watched as Jamie moved further along the beach, following close behind. She stopped when she reached the water's edge and he walked over, stopping beside her.

She turned and hugged Seb to her, laying her head on his chest, feeling him wrap his arms around her. "I would say we could swim... but I know we have to get up early."

"Doesn't mean we can't have some fun," he shrugged, holding her tight against him. "I'm used to functioning on minimal sleep, and you can always rest in the car while I drive. Besides, this is a vacation. Nothing has to be set in stone," he added.

Jamie licked her lips as she thought things over in her mind. "Well then... do you have anything in mind, handsome?"

Sebastian smirked. "Maybe. If you want to test the water, that is."

"What would we do about our clothes?" she asked curiously. "Would you want to... skinny dip?"

"I don't know about all that here, sweetheart. This is still a public beach after all," he chuckled.

"We'll have to put it on our list of things to do while we're on vacation then," Jamie giggled.

Sebastian set the bag he had in his hand on the ground. "We will definitely add it to our list, baby. Maybe when we get to the cabin we booked," he said, opening the bag. Slipping his shirt off, he put it inside, so it didn't get any sand on it. "For now, why don't we just stick to our bathing suits. We can still have a little fun if you want," he winked, slipping off the jogging pants he had thrown on over his trunks.
