Jamie sighed to herself as she watched Sebastian folding his clothes and packing them in his suitcase. "Make sure you have everything," she said solemnly.
"I think I have it all," he replied. "If I forget something, I can always replace it."
"Thank you... for leaving me a couple of your shirts," she replied.
Seb smiled softly. "Of course, sweetheart."
"I'm really going to miss you."
He stepped away from the bed and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "I'm going to miss you, too. We've been lucky enough to have a couple months together. It'll be a bit strange at first, but it'll go quick."
"I hope so," she murmured while clutching onto him. "Today isn't going to be easy."
"I know, sweetheart. But you're home... you have friends you can turn to that can help keep you busy."
She leaned back so she could kiss him softly. "As long as we can keep in touch, I'll be okay."
"I always have my phone," he smiled. "We can talk any time you want."
"Or FaceTime," she added, smiling. "When is your flight?"
"Too soon," he sighed. "I gotta head out in an hour or so."
"Do you want me to go with you? To the airport?"
Sebastian shrugged. "It's up to you. If you want to go along, you're more than welcome. I know it's not always easy though."
"No, it's not easy," she agreed softly.
"You don't have to go with, sweetheart. I know it's hard enough on you as it is." He reluctantly let her go, and went back to finishing his suitcase.
She watched him, seeing the shine of his brackets on his wrist, which made her smile even more. "What are you working on?"
"The next job you mean?" he asked, closing the small case and zipping it shut.
"Yeah," she nodded. "Are you able to tell me?"
Seb nodded, taking a seat on the edge of the bed. "I am working with Margot Robbie. A movie about Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan."
"Tonya Harding... the figure skater?"
"Yeah. I'm playing her husband... or ex-husband... whatever he is."
"That sounds pretty interesting. Are you nervous to play a real person?"
He shrugged a little. "It'll be different, that's for sure. Their story was a high-profile thing when it happened."
"I remember some of it," Jamie nodded. "It was quite a scandal."
"Yeah. Hopefully it will play out well on screen."
Jamie smiled. "With you on the cast, I know it will."
Sebastian smiled, holding out a hand for her. "I appreciate the support, sweetheart."
She took it and let him pull her up to stand. "I'll always support you."
"I love you," he whispered, leaning in to kiss her.
Jamie slowly kissed him back, doing her best to hold in tears. "I love you too," she murmured. "More than anything."
He held her tightly against his chest. "I know it's not easy, but you'll be okay. I promise."
"What about you?" She asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"I'm going to miss you... every day."
