Arriving back in Atlanta, Sebastian and Jamie got situated in the small furnished apartment he rented. As they unpacked their suitcases, Seb got a call from Joe Russo. He stepped out of the bedroom, leaving Jamie to finish unpacking.
"Hey," he greeted.
"Hey, Sebastian. I have some good news for you."
"Yeah?"
"We managed to find a couple of spots that we can use your girlfriend as an extra," Joe told him.
"That's awesome," he replied excitedly. "She'll be so happy to hear that."
Joe chuckled. "Sounds like you're pretty happy yourself."
"We, uh, we had a... snag, in our relationship. She's been struggling having time apart since. So, having a chance for her to be on set some of the time will be a big help," Seb explained. "When do we need to have her sign the contracts and such?"
"We can meet on set the first day that you're needed," Joe replied. "We'll go over everything then. Are things between you okay now?"
"Yeah, yeah... We're good. It won't affect anything on set or anything like that anymore. We're working through some things, but we're doing good."
"Good," Joe replied. "You know how we want things kept out of work. I'm glad things are going well for you though."
Seb nodded, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know. Sorry again about before. Do you know what day you'll need me on set yet?"
"The second week of shooting," Joe answered. "You'll be able to bring Jamie then. So you get a week's break. But I expect you to know your lines."
"I have whatever was sent to me in my email. I'll make sure to look it over," he assured. "We'll see you next week."
"You got it. Be safe."
Sebastian put his phone back in his pocket and turned around to see Jamie walking out of the bedroom. "All unpacked?"
Jamie smiled and nodded. "Yep. Everything's put away where it should be." She walked up to him and wrapped both arms around his waist. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah. It was just Joe. He said they found a few background spots for you," he told her, kissing the top of her head as she rested against his chest.
"Really? That's so exciting!" She giggled.
He smiled, "Yep. We go in next week; he said you can sign everything then. I don't know what kind of roles they are, we never know much with these things, but he said he found you a couple at least."
"That's amazing, Seb, really."
"What do you say we celebrate with a nice lunch?" he suggested.
Jamie nodded before leaning upward to kiss him gently. "That sounds lovely. Do you have a favorite place that you like to go to while you're here?"
"Not really. We could look online and try someplace new?"
"That sounds like a good idea. Maybe we could try somewhere local?"
"Sounds perfect," he grinned. "We could look for a little mom and pop type place."
"I'd like that," she nodded.
He gave her a quick kiss and pulled out his phone. Walking around and taking a seat on the couch, he started to scroll through a list of restaurants.
Jamie sat beside him and watched him. "What sounds good to you? Should we do something simple? Like a cafe?"
He nodded. "I think so. Kind of try to keep it low key for as long as I can."
"Keep what low key? Us?" She asked.
