Jamie rolled in her sleep just as she was able to hear her alarm clock go off, deciding to play Photograph by Ed Sheeran, making her grumble and pull her blanket over her head. Her hand reached out to snooze the alarm before she smiled, feeling a warm hand wrap around her waist and run beneath her shirt to rest on her stomach. "Mm-morning," she said softly.
Sebastian groaned, pulling her tighter to him, nuzzling his face into Jamie's neck.
"I don't want to get up either," she murmured in reply. She rolled over within his embrace, so she could face him, then gave him a lingering kiss. "I can snooze it three more times at the most. I make my alarm kind of early, so I don't end up being late."
Seb smiled against her neck, kissing her skin lightly. He sighed contentedly, pressing his chin to her shoulder.
Jamie slowly ran her fingers along his back, enjoying the feeling of his bare skin against her. "I was right... I don't want to get up. I'd rather lay here with you for a few hours... or the day," she chuckled.
He chuckled and nuzzled her again. "So do I," he replied softly. "But you just have to get through this week," he murmured.
"What if they send me back home?" Jamie asked. "Do I get a prize when I come back?"
"Mhm..." he hummed. "You get me," he smirked, his eyes still closed.
"That sounds like a worthy prize." She kissed his shoulder, then his neck softly. "Do you want me to let you go back to sleep?"
He shook his head. "No, I can always sleep again after you leave." Seb finally opened his eyes and looked at her, "I can make you some coffee for the road though if you'd like?"
"That'd be very sweet of you, Sebastian," she murmured. "I would like that."
He nodded, sitting up slowly and rubbing his hands over his face. Seb stretched and yawned quietly. Leaning down, he placed a kiss to her lips before sliding off the bed and heading towards the kitchen. Once he had the coffee machine going, Seb returned to the bed and laid back down beside Jamie.
Jamie just turned her alarm off, feeling more awake for the day now. "I better get dressed," she yawned but made no move to get up from the bed.
Seb just cuddled closer, wrapping an arm around her waist to keep her close. "Stay a bit longer, please," he whispered.
She turned and faced him once more before slowly running both hands through his hair. "I wish I didn't have to go in... especially when you say things like that."
"Me too," he replied, kissing her. He pulled away after a moment. "Let me make you breakfast while you shower?"
Jamie nuzzled against his neck. "Of course. You can fix whatever you want."
He gave her another long, lingering kiss. After a few minutes of just holding each other, they both reluctantly got up. Jamie went to the bathroom to get ready for her day, and Sebastian went to the kitchen to start a simple breakfast.
When Jamie emerged from the shower, dressed for the day, her hair up in a braided bun, she could smell coffee wafting from the kitchen. It made her smile. I don't know how I got so lucky... but I will savor every second.
She walked into the kitchen to see Sebastian standing at the stove in just his sweats, scrambling eggs. "It smells amazing in here."
He glanced over his shoulder to smile at her. "I hope you like scrambled eggs. I wanted to keep it simple since I know you have to get going soon."
"It's a simple favorite," Jamie smiled. "You can never go wrong with scrambled eggs in my book."
Sebastian grinned and poured her some coffee. He set a plate of scrambled eggs with a couple of pieces of toast down for her. After grabbing two forks, he made a plate for himself as well.
