The afternoon of the party, Jamie stood in front of the mirror as she smoothed out the front of her dress. A small smile rested on her face as she stared at her reflection then looked over at her phone, where Grace was on a FaceTime call. "Do you think he'll like it, Grace?"

"Of course he will!" she exclaimed. "He's gonna love it."

Jamie turned to face Grace, a smile on her face. "You know, you should come tonight. I think you would like everyone. I know Chris wouldn't mind."

"I don't know," Grace said doubtfully. "I've never met any of them... for obvious reasons. Plus, I have no idea how to get there, let alone what I'd wear."

"You don't have to dress up if you don't want to, and I can give you the address, Grace. It wouldn't be a big deal." She sat on the edge of the bed and began braiding her hair off to one side.

"I would hate to intrude though," she tried. "I don't know them, they are your friends, Jamie. I appreciate it, but..."

Jamie frowned. "I want you to meet Sebastian, Grace. In person. You're one of the few people I think of as family..."

Grace nodded. "Okay, okay," she accepted. "But only if Chris says it's okay. It is his house after all."

"Yes!" Jamie praised. "Oh Grace, you'll love him. Both of them."

"I'm sure I will," Grace laughed, "But you need to make sure Chris is alright with it. I don't want to just show up at his place unannounced."

"Hold on. I'm surprising Sebastian, so I'll just text Chris." Jamie picked up the phone and moved to her messages before typing out a text.

Jamie: Hey Chris? Could Grace come to the party? I want her to meet you and Seb.

Chris heard his phone go off with Jamie's tone, but had no idea where he had set it down. He had been all over setting things out for the party that he lost track of where it went. Shrugging, he walked to the bedroom she was in, figuring it would be quicker than searching for his device. Knocking on the door, he called out to her. "I have no clue where I put my phone... What's up? Did you need something?"

Jamie turned and smiled at the door. "I just have a question. I'm decent if you want to come in."

Chris opened the door and slipped inside, closing it quickly behind him. His eyes widened when he saw her standing by the bed in her costume. "Damn!" he exclaimed. "Sebastian is one lucky man." He quickly cleared his throat before continuing. "I mean, uh, what's up? I set my phone down somewhere and this seemed easier than looking for it," he shrugged with a chuckle.

A bright blush filled Jamie's cheeks, making her hide her face for a moment before grabbing her phone to show him Grace was on the line. "Could Grace come to the party? I want her to meet you and Seb."

"Of course!" Chris agreed immediately. "You're always welcome here, Grace. Any friend of Jamie's is a friend of ours," he added, smiling broadly.

Jamie turned to look at Grace on her phone. "See? I told you it would be okay."

Grace bit her lip, blushing a bright pink hue, and nodded. "If you are sure, I guess I can find something in my closet to wear," she smiled.

"I'm sure," Chris assured. "It'll be good for Jamie too, to have someone besides Seb and I to spend time with tonight."

"Both of us are looking forward to seeing you," Jamie smiled just as a knock sounded on the bedroom door. "I think that's Seb. I'll send you the address, ok Grace?"

Grace nodded, "Sounds good. I'll see you guys soon," she said with a smile.

Jamie smiled. "I can't wait." They said goodbye then hung up. Jamie put her phone in her pocket, happy she also got a cloak to go with her witch costume. "Is Seb dressed?" She turned and asked.
