wooyoung kept his promise of hailing thunder on yeosang once he had woken up.
"listen, can we have this convo later?" yeosang said in an exhausted voice, "this hangover is going to finish me."
wooyoung scoffed in disbelief at the boy who was now at the dining table, half asleep with his hand on his chin and his eyes barely open. he hadn't even managed to sleep a wink thanks to yeosang and his loud snoring, not to mention his habit of throwing his limbs over wooyoung whenever he felt like.
"not before i finish you." he lashed out, reaching for yeosang's throat.
"wOOOAhGhH- hey!" yeosang screeched, falling onto the ground and almost rupturing his spine in the process. "what the fuck, woo!"
wooyoung let out a final huff before clicking his tongue and taking yeosang's spot prior to falling down on his ass, crossing his arms over the table and staring into the abyss. not many thoughts were running through his simple minded head, but for some reason, he couldn't stop thinking about what choi san had said to him last night.
what did he mean when he said wooyoung wasn't special? of course he was. what the absolute hell did he mean he's met a lot like wooyoung? no, no he hasn't. and wooyoung could prove that.
he could prove that he was san's biggest hater, all in a heartbeat, so what gave san the right to categorise him so quick?
for someone as unbothered as wooyoung, this was enough to merely hover over his buttons. choi san grouping him in along with his other "not-special people that he encounters everywhere" really sounded like he currently had the upper hand with wooyoung, which he did. and wooyoung didn't want to admit that. with indenial, comes inexplicable anger.
he rolled his eyes, deciding not to look into it as much as he was. choi san just had a knack for triggering people around him, and wooyoung wasn't going to let him tower over him by giving him the reaction he wanted.
with a vigorous shake of his head, all the thoughts were gone and his now worry-free brain was thinking of what to do so the day would get over quick enough.
yeosang who had positioned himself across wooyoung in the meantime, leaned forward with curiosity triggered by boredom. "hey, what's the new tenant's name, anyway?"
"san-" wooyoung started, mind elsewhere from pondering over trivial things. upon realisation, his eyes quickly looked up at yeosang's keen ones, and he spoke before he really messed shit up. "-d beetle. sand beetle." he clarified suspiciously quick, leaning back in his chair and giving yeosang a weird reassuring smile.
"...sand beetle?"
of course, wooyoung could've come up with something better, not like he didn't have the speed or ability to do so. he just didn't like san, and what good came from covering him up with pure intentions?
