san had oddly begun to enjoy his alone time away from the spotlight.

after he'd moved in to the apartments, he almost never had to deal with difficult paparazzi and violations to his privacy. plus, his manager and colleagues hardly came over since they worried they might make a mistake and end up exposing san's whereabouts. he didn't know that doing normal people things like going to convenience stores, little cafeterias and restaurants was actually fun when you weren't being recognized left and right. shit, i sound real privileged saying that, he thought to himself.

san strolled into the elevator humming random tunes to himself, swinging in his hand a plastic bag filled with instant ramen packets and two soju bottles. he pressed the button to his floor and then shoved his hand in his pocket. since it was a friday, he had the entire day to himself, meaning he could use his time to recharge and mess about however he wanted. the elevator doors opened at his floor and san stepped out.

he cheerfully made his way to his apartment with a smile on his face that soon dropped upon seeing the door to wooyoung's place. san clicked his tongue, tipping his black cap. and to think, he had all sorts of exciting plans for the day but as soon as the memories came rushing back, all he wanted to do was sleep. he sighed, jamming the key into his own door and twisted it open.

to say the very least, san was frustrated. it had been exactly one week since that heated night where san had given into his urges and practically pounced onto wooyoung, and regardless of what angle he looked at the matter from, his conclusion was the same. he was certain wooyoung had reciprocated. then why was he acting like this? maybe he needed time to get used to the situation, but he could've done all of that in the same night that he stormed out of san's apartment. instead, he decided to completely disappear from san's sight.

maybe he was different from san, who liked to go all in and pursue whatever he wanted. but still, cutting off all contact and basically vanishing? what pissed san off even further was that he didn't know whether wooyoung was doing it because he was afraid of confronting his emotions or he just didn't care. or maybe something had happened to him...?

san groaned, plopping down on the couch and rubbing his face with his hands. maybe he was thinking too deep into things. where was the guy, anyway? after their night, the next and last time san saw wooyoung was when he was in that car with some guy.

it was too early in for san to be jealous, and he wasn't. he was just frustrated and irritated. when someone walks out on you like that and then never utters a word to you ever again it's inevitable that you start having all sorts of questions.

what was the big deal in admitting he liked the kiss anyway? did he even like kissing san to begin with? that wasn't even a question; of course he did. he wouldn't have roped him back in like that if otherwise.

as always, wooyoung was someone that was perplexing and the more san tried to understand him, the more lost he was. he claimed to hate san so much yet he kissed him back. that made san wonder if things were different—until wooyoung backed down and walked out on him. what was he doing? was he just playing games with san? did he hate his guts that much?
