"...it's true."

everybody was staring at choi san in astonishment as soon as the words were out of his mouth, but he couldn't care less. it appeared they'd all expected for him to dismiss the rumors as some crazy lie, but it wasn't one. he was too over the moon to care about their opinions, or the look on their faces.

san had no idea how wooyoung had done it, but more than that, he was too focused on why he had done it. did this mean what he thought it did? wooyoung had stepped out of his comfort zone and into the spotlight, and san was aware of how much he would've hated it. part of him felt guilty, but the other half wanted to be selfish. the euphoria that hit him upon seeing the article was everlasting, and he didn't even spare a second to think about the adverse effects this could have on the both of their lives.

san was happy.

"i know i've surprised you all with this scandal, and now i'm giving you an even bigger shock by admitting that it's true. i hope this shows how serious i am about this relationship, and i'd appreciate if you all respected our privacy. i've finally found the person i truly love and want to spend the rest of my life with, and i'm glad i found him now, even though we're both still young. thank you to all my friends and fans who've been supportive throughout these trying times, and thank you for all the love you've shown me throughout my career. thank you."

getting it all out of his chest felt relieving, and san was thankful he didn't have to hide anymore. however the situation unfolds, it didn't matter, as long as he wouldn't be separated from wooyoung once more. now all san could think about was how badly he wanted the time to go by quicker so he could go running back to wooyoung. it was so hard to stay mad at him.

seonghwa grinned proudly from next to him, giving his shoulder a gentle press. "we're done here, right?" he leaned in close to the host and whispered, but the poor man was too stunned to speak. he was frozen in his spot, and seonghwa tapped him gently, trying to get him to snap out of whatever trance he was in.

"huh? oh, sorry," the man apologized and bowed lightly, and seonghwa dismissed it with a wave of his hand. as he gave his closing dialogue, san stood up, eagerly heading for the back, leaving seonghwa behind. his manager came scurrying towards him with a concerned and panicky look on his face. throughout these circumstances, he was the man san pitied the most. he had to deal with all of san's antics and his recklessness because he really had no other choice.

"boss is going to kill you, you know that, right?" he whispered hurriedly and san shrugged. he meant it when he said nothing else mattered to him. he could take all the yelling from mr. wong, all the dirty looks from people, all the compliments, but his mind would still be elsewhere. he desperately wanted to see wooyoung again.

"you have to go to his office now. he wants to see you. and seonghwa as well."

san groaned. they were all obstacles, delaying him from reaching his destination. seonghwa ran up to them and placed a hand on san's shoulder. "you did good," he grinned cheekily. "i'm happy for you."
