any remnants of wooyoung's rage, which had just been deemed unjustified, dissipated into thin air as soon as choi san's lips were on his. choi san was only momentarily taken aback before he requited, as if he already knew wooyoung would come back to him.

his warm hands made their way around wooyoung's waist, pulling him closer with a gentleness that sent swirls of sensation in waves throughout wooyoung's body, making him tingle all over. his hands clutched san's shirt even tighter, further pressing the taller against the walls of the elevator.

the euphoric moment was short-lived as wooyoung, the very person who initiated the affair, pulled back as soon as he was reminded of the fact that they were literally putting their inappropriate display of affection out for any passerby to see.

he looked at san with a defeated expression, stepping backwards thinking choi san would get the hint and loosen his hold around wooyoung, but he didn't. instead, san reeled him back in instantly, his intense gaze shifting from wooyoung's eyes to his lips with a satisfied smile on his face.

"i won't let you run away this time," he said under his breath, quiet enough for only him and wooyoung to hear. wooyoung groaned. he'd probably stimulated the guy too much with all his rage that physically showed itself in the form of a painfully passionate lip-lock.

"i'm not running away," wooyoung stated sternly, "but i didn't come here for this. we need to talk, like we said we would in case something happened aga—"

"later." san dismissed hastily without sparing him even a fraction of a second before he pressed his lips against wooyoung's, sending wooyoung stumbling back. did he have no manners, whatsoever? what would he do if the tenants passed by and were forced to witness something so indecent? wooyoung always had a distaste for people who were overly transparent with their PDA. taking advantage of his strength—which was at least ten times greater than san's—wooyoung successfully pushed san, who was clinging onto him like a leech, away from him, holding him down in a head lock.

"ow! seriously?!" choi san complained, slapping wooyoung's arm. wooyoung only sighed as he dragged him out of the elevator and to his doorstep. san groaned, fishing his keys out of his pockets and opening the door, and wooyoung finally let him go.

"what was that for?" san grumbled childishly as wooyoung closed the door behind them. wooyoung deadpanned at him and the very expression on his face was enough to call san stupid in every language that existed.

"how can you be so brazen like that in places where you can easily be seen?" wooyoung reprimanded and san scoffed.

"you were the one that—whatever, we're not in public anymore, right? so we're good now," san declared before grabbing wooyoung's face in his hands, closing the gap between their lips again and almost defying the law of the first and foremost state of matter, the way his feverish passion threatened to merge their bodies into one.

wooyoung groaned against his soft lips yet relinquished despite having been blessed with the power to incapacitate san within a nanosecond. it was quite obvious that no matter how many times he pushed him away with how much ever power he wanted to use, choi san would just come back rushing like the impassioned idiot he was.

as if he couldn't get enough despite being handed literally everything he needed, choi san stumbled forward with wooyoung still in his grasp, causing the latter to hit the armrest of the living room couch and almost fall back. not wanting to let san be in control like he'd always been, wooyoung swiveled around for a change, causing san to fall back instead with wooyoung on top of him.

great. now that he finally held san down, they could get to talking instead of wasting away precious time. wooyoung breathed out and both of his hands tightly held san's shoulders down so he wouldn't make a move again. but san didn't really seem like he wanted to make a move or even shift an inch. he just mysteriously looked up at wooyoung with those sparkling eyes of his, his head laying back on the armrest on the other end of the couch. he had an amused look on his face as he looked down at their position; wooyoung had ended up straddling him.

wooyoung dismissed their awkward position and cleared his throat. "we need to talk," he declared, loosening his grip to cross his arms. it seemed to be the only thing he ever said when he was around san.

"like this?" san asked, intrigued. "i'm all for it. go on," he obeyed before sitting up straight and clasping his arms around wooyoung. once more, their faces were just a hairsbreadth away from each other. he really did seem to be enjoying this, wooyoung thought to himself. he glowered irritably at san before pushing him away and sitting on another couch instead.

"are you hulk or something? jeez," san groaned, rubbing his shoulders that were probably aching from wooyoung's shove. wooyoung rolled his eyes. "okay, shoot. what do you wanna talk about? is it about how we're gonna go about things from here onwards?" san continued, leaning back against the couch with a smug look on his face. "because from the looks of it, you don't wanna end things with me either."

wooyoung completely disregarded the comment, not wanting to bolster san's ego. "yeah, but i don't think it's to the point i want a relationship. i'm not sure what i want yet, but it's definitely not dating. the last thing i need is to be another love scandal on your list."

san narrowed his eyes bitterly at wooyoung's last few words. "can you just drop the fact that i'm a celebrity? it doesn't even mean anything to me so why's it bothering you so much?"

"it doesn't bother you because you're the celebrity, you fucking idiot. you're the only one that doesn't see how different our worlds are," wooyoung reminded and san clicked his tongue, running a hand through his hair.

but it was true. they were really from two different worlds. those few words echoed in the back of his brain like he'd heard it from someone else's lips before. the words of the shaman, the one he'd met back when his life was in the beginning stages of entangling itself with choi san's, popped up in his head like a giant poster.

"i see someone... in your present and future, i see someone."

"the both of you are from two different worlds, but you've found each other. this isn't good, this will only bring you trouble. i see mountains of obstacles and hardship in the time ahead..so much emptiness.. so many blind alleys.."

a heavy feeling floated in wooyoung's chest and settled at the very bottom of it like gravel. did he do the right thing coming here? or was he just opening himself up to pain and damage?

frustratingly enough, wooyoung found himself reconsidering his choices for the hundredth time.

"okay, you're not ready for relationships," san's words distracted wooyoung from his line of thought. wooyoung looked up at him curiously, hoping he'd come up with a proper solution.

"then let's do the next best thing. how about we set some rules? to put it professionally, a contract."
