As the announcement of a tour for Mode-L was publicised, Hyebin had broken the news to Changkyun personally via video chat. Considering it was only an Asia tour, it wasn't going to be as long as Changkyun's last tour had been but it was still going to separate them for a while so Hyebin had suggested they go for a date before heading to Japan for the first leg of the tour.
Since it was much more complex to go on a date with all the current happenings, Hyebin and Changkyun had to be particularly cautious with where they would go. It seemed as if Changkyun had an idea, though, he wouldn't reveal where he wanted to take her, only asking her to trust him.
That trust had brought her to a random alleyway in the middle of nowhere, covered from head to toe in a padded coat, mask and scarf. As always they were incognito but at least they could fly under the radar considering the weather was still chilly from winter so everyone else was pretty wrapped up too.
The sound of footsteps startled Hyebin, spinning around on her heel only to recognise the familiar figure ahead was Changkyun. Even though he was covered up, he was still incredibly handsome to her. His eyes were sharply staring ahead, softening as he noticed her presence which made her smile. Oh, how she loved watching his cold gaze soften for her.
"Kyunnie," Hyebin called out, pulling down her mask as she approached him as did he, his arms wrapping around her waist to pull her in for a kiss.
Gosh, it had been so long since she'd felt his embrace, those pink plump lips which she'd longed for... his smile as he pulled away from the kiss. If only she could be by his side every day... It felt so cruel to choose between love or a career. Why was it so hard to have both? All she wanted was to enjoy the little moments with the one she loved but even wearing matching jewellery was a threat to their careers.
"I missed you," Hyebin sighed, reaching to hold his hands.
"And I missed you so much," Changkyun grumbled, pulling her in for another hug again and swaying from side to side. Being within her presence had him acting all giddy like a fool. He was a fool when it came to Hyebin. "I've been working on a track these days... It's about you."
"Me?" Hyebin giggled at how shy Changkyun had become. He seemed to be internally stressing from revealing it to her. "What's with that face? Have you written lyrics? What do they say?"
"I just... you know." Changkyun paused momentarily, his face visibly cringing at his actions with regret. "Just... stuff."
"What kind of stuff?" Hyebin teased, her tongue peeking out between her teeth as she cheekily grin at him. "I've seen what you write. Is it PG?"
"Just... It's called Queen." Changkyun finally admitted.
"Am I Queen?" Hyebin gloated, pleased that she had made him confess. "What exactly is said about me?"
"Ah..." Changkyun sighed turning her around, though not letting go of her so he was now giving her a back hug. "I'll tell you in a moment. Let's go inside."
"Inside?" Hyebin frowned, glancing around for where he could possibly mean.
"Mhm."
On the left-hand side, further up from where they were was a little wooden door with dim lighting. It looked a little suspicious so Hyebin felt uneasy but she trusted Changkyun so she allowed him to guide her towards it. Getting closer, she noticed a sign. It seemed to be a quaint little music shop.
"Wow," Hyebin mumbled as they entered, everything seemed so old-fashioned.
Violins ranging in sizes and colours, guitars hung up along the walls and even a harp stood in a corner. She had never seen so many different instruments but it seemed like musical heaven. Instantly, a man recognised the pair and headed over with a warm smile. Hyebin avoided eye contact as she was worried they'd been caught.
