"Happy New Year, mother-in-law." Hyebin greeted, walking out of the bedroom in a lilac hanbok, which left Changkyun ogling at her.

"Oh, it looks stunning on you!" His mother gasped, rushing over to her side. "You aren't too tired are you? I know you probably didn't expect to be cooking in the kitchen with me when you came."

"No, it's totally fine. I think I ate more than I made anyway," Hyebin mused, walking side by side with her mother-in-law.

"Would you like some makgeolli, Hyebin-ssi?" His father called out as he prepared drinks for the memorial ceremony.

Hyebin knew it was rude to reject a drink from her elders but she didn't enjoy drinking much. Glancing over at Changkyun, he immediately noticed her expression and sprung into action.

"She's not big on drinking," he excused her, moving over to his father. "But I'll have some."

"Would you two mind going to the shop for me? I forgot to pick up some milk." His mother lied, wanting to give the two some alone time.

"It's okay, I'll go-" Changkyun tried to be helpful not understanding his mothers intentions.

"No, you might need help. Go together." She insisted, giving him a stern look.

"Alright then," he briefly glanced over at Hyebin to see if she was also okay with this. They hadn't been able to talk all day since Hyebin was helping his mother with the cooking and Changkyun was setting up the table and getting dressed.

As the pair walked over to the door way, slipping their shoes on and putting their jackets on, they noticed how bad the weather was, giving each other a look. The sky was awfully bleak and rain was falling nonstop.

Stepping out first, Hyebin was greeted by cold, wet droplets unintentionally causing her to shiver. Feeling a hand pull her back, Hyebin fell back into Changkyun's chest, looking up to see a bug navy umbrella covering her from the rain.

"You'll get sick." He scolded, looking at her attire. "I'm worried your dress will get ruined. Will you be okay?"

"I'm sure it'll be fine." She waved off the subject, hooking her arms with Changkyun's as they began to stroll down the street.

"You aren't mad at me are you?" He asked, wanting to make sure everything was okay between them.

"Of course not, why would you think that?" She asked, looking up at him in confusion.

"You've just been quiet today. We haven't talked much." He explained, guiding the way to the shop.

"Well we haven't seen each other much yet and I've been talking to your mother a lot today and trying to impress your father. He's a quiet man so it's difficult and if we're going to tell them then I want to make sure I'm okay with them both first." Hyebin added, feeling slightly scared to see their reaction. "I'm probably not what they we expecting but I don't want them to hate me, even if they aren't fond of me."

"It doesn't matter anyway, no one's opinion matters to me when it comes to you." Changkyun commented. "Because I like you a lot. Nobody can change that. Not even when you get moody with me."

"I don't get moody with you. Sometimes you're really quiet and difficult. I'll ask you something simple and you just mumble and become demanding." Hyebin defended herself.
