{ Ashton }

The closer and closer I got to Hannah's house, the more and more nervous I was getting. I was about to meet the most important person in her life. I did stall some on my way over. I stopped and got gas then stopped and picked all of us up some Chick-Fil-A for lunch.

Now, I was pulling into her driveway. I shut my car off and got out. I grabbed the drink carrier and the food bags, then grabbed the gift bag I had for Cason. Bribing is probably not the best way for him to like me but it works.

I headed up on the porch and knocked on the door. I could hear little feet running to the door, followed by a 'Mommy'.

A few seconds later, the door opened and Hannah stood there with a little boy behind her legs,

"Hey Ash" she smiled and stepped aside so I could walk in. She took the Chick-Fil-A from my hands and closed the door. I immediately looked to the boy who was staring up at me. I knelt down so I was even with him, sitting the gift bag next to me,

"Hey buddy. I'm Ashton" I spoke softly, "You must be Cason"

"Yeah" he giggled and looked up at his mom, "What dat?" He asked and pointed to the gift bag,

"This is for you" I smiled and glanced at Hannah, "But I think Mommy wants to eat lunch first"

Cason giggled and ran off to what I assumed was the kitchen. I stood and set the gift bag to the side then turned to my girlfriend,

"You did not need to get him a gift" she deadpanned, but then pecked my lips, "but I know he will like it so thank you"

"Of course" I grinned then followed her to the kitchen where Cason was patiently waiting for his meal. Hannah laughed and helped Cason get sorted then we sat and ate as well,

"You wike Spida-Man?" Cason spoke up. Hannah laughed,

"I do like Spider-Man, but your Mommy told me you were the biggest Spider-Man fan" I smiled,

"Remember, I told you Ashton helped me make your Spider-Man room" Hannah spoke,

"Oh yeah!" Cason giggled, shoving another french fry into his mouth, "Tank you"

"You're welcome" I grinned and looked at my girlfriend who was just smiling big,

"Maybe in a little bit you can show Ashton all your superhero stuff" Hannah suggested,

"Yeah! And we pway supa-hewoes"

I grinned and kept eating. Cason was too cute and he was just so happy. What I found adorable was how he was bobbing his head like he was listening to a song as he ate,

"Thanks for getting lunch" Hannah spoke, breaking me from my thoughts,

"Yeah of course" I nodded and helped her grab all the trash. Cason hopped off his chair and ran off to the living room.

Hannah threw everything away then came and hugged around my waist,

"He's adorable" I laughed,

"He's something else" Hannah grinned, looking up at me. I smiled and pushed a stand of hair behind her ear,

"Mommy! Ashon" Cason hollered. I laughed at how he pronounced my name. Hannah smiled and took my hand and brought me back to the l living room where we saw Cason trying to peak in the bag I brought,

"Hey you little sneaker" I joked. Cason giggled and turned to face us,

"I see?" he asked. I nodded as Hannah sat down. I grabbed the bag for Cason and brought it over by his mom then sat on the floor with him.
