{ Ashton }

Today the band and I were heading into a meeting with our management. Apparently, they have an opportunity for us to discuss. But what sucks is that today is the day Cason's having his surgery and I know Hannah will need help. Luckily she's only really needing help getting him home and making sure his leg is staying straight. But, Calum, the great friend he is, offered to drive me to the meeting and then to the hospital afterward so I can help Hannah.

We got to the meeting and headed in, taking a seat at the rounded table. Somehow we had beaten our management team here, which luckily allows us guys to freely talk before business talk,

"So Grace told me that you're now one of Cason's legal guardians" Calum hummed, making both Luke and Michael's heads whip to me,

"Uh yeah, I am. Hannah's parents are trying to get Cason from her and stuff so they said one way we can extra protect Cason is by him having a second legal guardian- a dad basically. So like if CPS were to say that Hannah is an unfit mother- which she isn't- Cason would come to me and I'd get to decide if Hannah sees him or not in some sense" I explained,

"Does he call you dad?" Luke asked,

"He's let it slip twice. The last time was like two weeks ago. He just calls me Ashy" I shrugged. It really isn't that big of a deal to me. Cason can really call me whatever he wants.

Our conversation wasn't too long because our manager came in with our tour manager, making the four of us confused,

"Nice to see you boys" our manager nodded, along with our tour manager, "So the opportunity is a tour. You'd be opening for The Chainsmokers"

Me and the guys all looked at each other. It seems like an odd tour for us to go on. Us and The Chainsmokers are nothing alike. The only thing we have in common is the one song we did together,

"I mean, it could help broaden our fanbase" Michael shrugged. I nodded,

"It could be a good opportunity to play for those who don't know us"

Luke and Calum agreed,

"So?" our manger questioned. We all looked at each other again and nodded, confirming we'd do it.

"Perfect. Let's get it booked"

{ Hannah }

Ashton had just texted me telling me he was walking in. Cason went to surgery about ten minutes ago, so I was just waiting in the waiting room.

Cason's surgery started right on time and should only last about an hour. Thankfully, this will be a quick hospital trip and he can go home and rest.

Ashton came walking in with a smile. He leaned down and kissed me then took a seat next to me,

"How was he this morning?" Ashton asked, taking my hand in his,

"He was okay. He never fought or anything. Once they got the medicine in him he was just laughing the whole time" I chuckled,

"He's still gonna be loopy when he wakes up probably" Ashton laughed as well,

"So how was your meeting?" I asked, turning in my chair to face Ashton,

"It went well. We agreed to go on tour in the fall as openers for The Chainsmokers" he shrugged,

"That's awesome Ash" I smiled, squeezing his hand, "I'll come to see you play"

He smiled and kissed my hand.
