Today is Valentine's Day and thankfully I was getting to take Hannah out for the night. Her friend, Morgan, was in town and offered to watch Cason overnight. Although I love Cason to death, I am excited to have time with just Hannah.

I pulled into Hannah's driveway and parked next to Morgan. I got out and grabbed the gifts I had for Hannah and Cason and headed up to the door. I decided to knock instead of just walking in, feeling as if that was more romantic.

As soon as I knocked, I could hear Cason gasp and call for his mom. The door opened seconds later and there stood my beautiful girlfriend,

"Happy Valentines Day baby" I smiled and handed to the flowers and gift basket I had for her,

"Thank you" she grinned and pecked my lips, "Happy Valentines Day"

I smiled and she stepped aside so I could walk in. As we stepped into the living room, I saw Cason get up and walk toward me,

"No way dude! You're walking on your own now" I beamed, and knelt down,

"And next week we get to bend the brace so he can walk properly" Hannah smiled,

"Dat for me?" Cason asked, pointing to the gift in my hand,

"Of course it is buddy" I nodded, "Happy Valentines Day"

Cason giggled and took the plush blue dinosaur and the little box of chocolate from my hand and smiled,

"Tanks Ashy" he giggled,

"Of course buddy" I hugged him.

Cason got settled back on the couch and I followed Hannah into the kitchen where she started going through what I got her. It was your typical Valentine's Day basket,

"Thank you Ash" she smiled and kissed me again, "I have your present in my room but Morgan is showering right now"

"No worries" I laughed.

We went back and played with Cason for a bit until Morgan came out. Once she was occupied with Cason, I followed Hannah to her room. She made me sit on the bed and handed me a gift bag. I pulled the tissue paper out first and put it to the side, then I reached in and pulled out a bottle of the cologne I use. I reached in again and found a necklace with a H and a C on it along with some candy.

"Thank you love" I smiled. She cheesed back then walked into her bathroom to get ready and I laid back on her bed, scrolling through Instagram.

Hannah finally came out of the bathroom with a beautiful short black dress on and some heels, making my jaw drop,

"You look beautiful" I stood, my hands finding her waist,

"Thank you" she blushed before pulling away and grabbing a small bag to stay overnight, "Ready?"

I nodded and followed her out of her room and to the living room,

"Cas, Ashy and I are leaving" Hannah spoke, leaning down and kissing her son's head,

"Okay, bye Mommy. Bye Da- I mean, Ashy" Cason stuttered,

"Bye buddy. I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled, ruffling his hair,

"Kiss?" Cason asked with a tilted head. I grinned and kissed his head before following Hannah out the door.

I pulled up to the fancy restaurant I managed to secure reservations at and got out, walking around the car and opening Hannah's door. She took my hand as she got out and I shut the door behind her,
