I am not worthy
No matter how much I try
I am not worthy
But maybe, I didn't try enough?
Never mind, I am not worthy
I see them around me
I see the way they speak and behave
As I try to fit in
But failed and remain a misfit anyway
They're busy in their own selves
With a few glances at me
But yet they ignore my trials
And become too blind to see
The loneliness inside me
I tried changing myself
Tried seeing things from their point of view
Tried thinking their interest as my own
Tried thinking, behaving like them
But apparently all I did
Was put my true self at stake
And reject the fact
That I have a mind of my own
Once a misfit, always a misfit
But all I want was to belong
Never mind it
I am not worthy as they are
Not in this extra social world
But guess what?
Diamonds don't mix
With shiny fake pearls
Who get attention only cause they're feasible
While diamonds rare to form
Once you throw light on them
They're unbeatable
