Do you recall the feeling? the feeling you felt when you finally got your wish fulled? The wish for either a sister or brother, a dog or a cat, or a perfect loving family, or your own child?
its hard to express it in words, the excitement that flows in us.
But at the same time the horror thoughts that conquer our brain for losing our loved ones?
here is a poem written by me when i got to know that i am becoming an elder sister for the first time after desperate wishes for 14 years.
Dedicated to : My real 1 year old brother
Written: when I was 14 and about to become elder sister
Tag: anyone if you feel like dedicating it from ur side to some u know.
Since years I had waited
Now you'll arrive
I wonder how you look
If you look anything like meWill you have curly hair
That everyone will go crazy after?
Will you have dark brown eyes
That'll sparkle every time you look at them? Will you have a smile
That'll make anyone forget their worries
A smile which shows kindness
Which can melt anyone's heartI can wonder and wonder for hours
What all qualities you'll have
Will you be strong enough
For standing for yourself in difficult times? Will you have a heart
That'll beat for others
Where there is enough love
For our mother earth?A heart that cares
A heart that wants other's happiness
A heart which feels
The pain in silenceA heart that hears
The scream of the voiceless
A heart which speaks
For those who sufferA soul which is like ocean
Calming and soothing to look at
Terrifying to mess up withYet the weak depend on it?
A soul that can't stand
Torture to the innocent
A soul which will speak
Whenever criminals get awayHowever you'll be
You'll be mine
A desire to fullfill
A star to shineNo one in this world
Can ever replace you dear
Wherever you'll be
You'll have a special place in my heartNo matter who'll you be when you grow up
My heart will beat for you forever
I'll be with you
No matter how far we will beMy heart will always beat for you
