★Kim Sunwoo★This was a nice change. Eric, Chanhee, Juyeon- all sitting together as friends. Sunwoo took a moment to appreciate the situation. These three had no reason to associate with each other, but they all teamed up for Sunwoo. And he would forever be grateful for that.
"It was bad, I was sneezing frosting for like three days." Chanhee recounted. He was telling the story of the time Sunwoo shoved Chanhee's face into his birthday cake. "I haven't had cake at my birthday since."
They ended up eating at a diner just a few blocks from Sunwoo's house, Chanhee and Eric were already done eating, Juyeon had only ordered a strawberry milkshake, and Sunwoo was still eating his fries.
"So I'm not the only one Sunwoo traumatized with frosting." Juyeon hummed.
"What are you talking about? I never shoved your face into a cake." Sunwoo quickly denied.
"I'm not talking about a face full of cake. I mean the time you filled my shoes with frosting, after that I stopped leaving my shoes out of my drawers." Juyeon said, reminding Sunwoo that he indeed did have a thing for traumatizing people with frosting.
"God, you were a menace." Eric chimed in.
"He still is, last month I asked him for homework answers and he sent me iMessage games." Chanhee frowned.
"In my defense, I hadn't even done the homework yet. I was stalling." Sunwoo shrugged. "Not very well, obviously. I still got a C on it."
"I have a question." Eric suddenly spoke up. "Your parents..."
"What about them?" Sunwoo replied.
"They don't know we're dating, do they?" Eric questioned. "Because earlier I was associated as your friend, twice."
Everyone at the table could tell the question made Sunwoo a little nervous. It was true, he hadn't exactly told his parents he was dating someone- much less that he had a boyfriend. Back when Sunwoo first came out to them, they were conservative people. It was difficult, but they tried to out aside their beliefs- this was their son, their only son. Sunwoo could tell they still had a hard time, so they never talked about it much. It made it difficult for Sunwoo to come to them for advice over his love life.
"I'm not mad, so stop looking like a kicked puppy." Eric quickly added. "I just want to know why."
"It's complicated." Sunwoo answered. "They've accepted that I'm pansexual, I just haven't quite figured out if they support me, y'know? They grew up on traditional beliefs, men should marry women and have families. They tried to put them aside for me, but it's been hard obviously. I don't want it to mess up what we have." Sunwoo shrugged.
Eric seemed happy with that answer as he didn't question it anymore. After everyone was done eating they paid and all packed into Chanhee's car. Since today Sunwoo's name was cleared, he was given the privilege of the aux. The drive wasn't that long though, maybe 10 minutes.
"Juyeon, will you come with me to my house. I need to grab a few things and it's a little dark outside." Chanhee asked.
Sunwoo furrowed his eyebrows. Chanhee wasn't scared of the dark, hell he wasn't scared of anything. If anything everything was scared of Chanhee. So the sudden need of a companion in the dark confused him. However, he decided not to mention anything as everyone exited the car. Juyeon agreed and they disappeared down the street.
Eric and Sunwoo entered the house, where Sunwoo's parents were sitting in the living room watching TV.
"We're home." Sunwoo announced.
