★pKim Sunwoo

The absolute rage in their eyes as his parents dropped their bags as the entrance and just stared at him.

"Mom, dad, please just-"

"Don't. I don't want to hear another word from you." Sunwoo's mom snapped. "Hazing, Sunwoo? Really? We had to hear it from the school?" She raised her voice.

"Mom, I didn't do this!" Sunwoo protested.

"I don't want to hear it! We did not raise you like this. You are grounded for as long as I can legally ground you for. You are going down to the school and formally apologizing to those poor kids." The woman barked.

"Mrs. Kim, he's telling the truth. He wasn't involved in any kind of hazing." Juyeon cut in.

"Juyeon, we appreciate you being here but Sunwoo is now grounded for the rest of his life. So you can go now." His dad said.

Juyeon took one last look at Sunwoo who's face was one of betrayal. He knew it wasn't because of him, but because of his parents.

Juyeon mouthed the words 'I'm sorry' before taking his leave.

"Hand over your car keys, your phone, and we've already suspended your allowance card. You've really disappointed us, Sunwoo." His mother said calmly.

Sunwoo scoffed.

"I've disappointed you? Do you realize that I had to get suspended and my future jeopardized for you to finally give a damn about the things that go on in my life?" Sunwoo asked. He asked but he didn't want an answer.

"I'm sorry it seems that way." Mr. Kim said quietly.

"No it doesn't just seem that way, it is that way. It's been that way since I was 13. Neither of you have ever seen the As on my tests, you've never been to a single one of the plays I acted in, you know I bet you don't even know what colleges I'm applying to." Sunwoo crossed his arms. He felt a lump from in his throat.

His parents stood silently. They couldn't even deny it.

"You're constantly putting your work before me whether you realize it or not. I've always been second place with you two." Sunwoo continued. "So I don't care whether or not you believe me when I say I did not haze anyone. Because I know who I am and what my values are, you couldn't even tell me my favorite color."

Sunwoo grabbed his keys and stormed past them. He pulled out of the driveway before they could even follow him out.

Sunwoo just kept driving. He didn't know where he was going nor where he'd end up but he just had to keep driving.

Eventually he ended up on the bridge. He just sat in his car, looking into the distance.

How could they not believe him? All he's ever done was try to please them and work on his dreams. Not once have they acknowledged everything he's achieved. But the one time he gets in trouble, suddenly he's not the kid they raised.

Younghoon would pay big time for this.

Then his phone dinged. An Email from the school.

Of course.

It was a lot of words, none of them good. Two phrases hit hard.

"Suspended effective immediately" "Expulsion pending."

They were going to expel him. For something he didn't even do. But he couldn't prove it.
