"Why can't you just be happy for me?"
"How can I be happy if the only person I love is setting himself up for heartbreak?"
Sunwoo is right there. Chanhee doesn't see him. Maybe Eric does.

"Hey, can I have Younghoon's phone number?" Sunwoo asked Chanhee.
They were currently studying together in Sunwoo's living room, Sunwoo was on the couch and Chanhee on the floor by the coffee table. Sunwoo didn't know why Chanhee liked sitting on the floor, it's not like they had carpet.
"Sure, can I ask what for?" Chanhee asked, pulling out his phone to send Sunwoo the contact.
"Mr. Hwang is making me tutor him before the lesson quiz next week so he can play Saturday's game." Sunwoo answered.
Chanhee furrowed his eyebrows, putting his phone back in his pocket.
"He didn't tell me he was failing any classes." Chanhee frowned.
"Well technically he's not failing, he has a C-. But you know how the football coach is, he's a stickler for grades. And it's just until he gets his grade up to an A-." Sunwoo shrugged.
"It's weird that you'd do this without something in it for you." Chanhee chuckled.
"Oh there is something in it for me. Mr. Hwang is giving me extra credit if Younghoon passes." Sunwoo said.
Suddenly Chanhee perked up. "Oh! Speaking of Younghoon, I totally forgot I have a date with him tonight. I gotta go get ready." Chanhee said, packing away his books.
Sunwoo felt his mood suddenly plummet. If they were going on dates now it was just a matter of time before they started dating. Sunwoo dreaded that day to come.
"I'll call you tomorrow?" Chanhee said, swinging his bag over his shoulder.
"I can't, I'm going job hunting tomorrow. Remember?" Sunwoo raised an eyebrow.
"Oh right." Chanhee frowned. "Well I'll see you later then."
Sunwoo nodded and Chanhee exited the house. Sunwoo sighed deeply and laid down on the couch.
"Sunwoo, can you please clean up here? We're having guests over tonight." Sunwoo's mom appeared above him on the couch.
"Who?" Sunwoo asked, sitting up to pack up his assignments and books.
"Some potential clients, they just moved here and they're looking for a building for their cafe franchise." She explained, helping Sunwoo put his things into his backpack.
Sunwoo hummed. His parents had clients over for dinner all the time, it was nothing new.
"Can I go out?" Sunwoo asked.
"Just be home before midnight." Mrs. Kim said, giving Sunwoo a stern look.
"I'm just gonna go get ready." Sunwoo said, taking his bag up to his room and putting it away.
He didn't really like being home when his parents had clients over, they'd find a way to make him sit through the whole thing.
Sunwoo changed out of his school uniform and into a pair of jeans and a black hoodie. He grabbed his phone and keys and he was out the door.
For a while he just drove through the city, finding a sort of inner peace in the city lights and the music playing in the speakers of his car.
He liked driving by himself, it was relaxing. He was away from all things reality. It was just him, his car, and his music. It was his form of therapy.
Suddenly his music was interrupted by a phone call.
