Kim Sunwoo

Alas, the day of the trip had finally arrived. The trip on the bus was a very long and torturous one, the head teacher suggested that all the kids get there by 6am so they could leave by 7:00-7:30. Sunwoo couldn't even sleep on the bus because for some reason the drivers chose the route with the most potholes, so even if he tried, he'd get to the resort with about six concussions.

Once they had arrived to the resort, Mr. Bae made everyone wait in the buses while he got the room keys. He made it clear that the person you sat next to on the bus was going to be your roommate, for convenience. Chanhee and Sunwoo arrived together so they instinctively sat together.

Sunwoo heard Chanhee sigh heavily beside him.

"I'm so tired." Chanhee slurred.

"You and me both." Sunwoo replied flatly. "Let's just hope Mr. bubbly doesn't have anything planned 'till the afternoon."

"That's a bit of a stretch." Chanhee said with pettiness laced in his tone. "Remember when the school had an early start day during exams so we could properly prepare and he gave his exam first thing?"

Sunwoo physically grimaced at the memory. He remembered very clearly. He also vividly remembered sleeping sixteen hours after school, it was the weekend so he thought it would be fine to sleep in. Except he slept through the whole day.

"So you're really okay with Eric and Juyeon being roommates?" Chanhee asked out of the blue.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Sunwoo asked, more curious than reassuring.

"No, I just mean if you want, I can switch with him. Juyeon's actually kind of growing on me." Chanhee hummed.

"No, it's fine. To be honest I'm kind of trying to avoid rooming with Eric." Sunwoo frowned, causing Chanhee to copy said frown.

"Why's that?" He asked. Then Sunwoo gave him a look, and it clicked. "Oh."

"Yeah, I've been telling him that I want to wait until we're both ready. But honestly, I don't think I'm ready. I don't want it to be disappointing, you know?" Sunwoo shrugged.

"Yeah, I get what you mean. But I still think you should tell him, communication is key in any relationship." Chanhee advised.

Sunwoo stayed silent after that, Chanhee continued complaining about how tired he was.

Soon enough Mr. Bae returned with the room keys and asked everyone to get off in a single file line.

"Once you get your key, kindly show it to the receptionist at the door and she will tell you where to go. Remember to take your bags, once the doors to the buses close we will not be opening them again." Mr. Bae announced into the megaphone he was holding.

Chanhee and Sunwoo eventually got their keys but stayed back to wait for Eric and Juyeon.

They strolled up having their own conversation.

Sunwoo showed his key card to the receptionist and she typed in the number in her computer.

"Take the elevator to your right, 3rd floor all the way down the hall." She kindly gave them directions, patiently waiting for the next pair.

Sunwoo stayed behind to listen to the directions she gave Eric.

"You'll be taking the elevator to the left, 4th floor just 3 doors down to your right." She said.

Sunwoo was little bummed out that they were on opposite sides of the hotel, but they'd still be able to visit so it didn't really matter.

Once the two got to their room and appreciated the size and amenities of their room. The room wasn't very big, but everything else in it certainly made up for it. There were two beds, white sheets with a blue throw blanket tucked in at the end of the bed. The walls were white with a blue accent wall behind the beds. The beds themselves were both probably king sized. There was a small balcony with a view of the entire resort by the beach.
